| Gunzfactorian Hero | I'll give you a PERFECT example: When we arrive, we will call our moms. Doesn't seem flawed does it? Ok then: Why is it that when we want to talk about the future tense, we say it in the present tense? So, when we say "When" we can talk about the past tense "When I was young..." and we can talk about the future tense "When I get there..." but when we talk about the future tense, we have to use the present tense to describe the future tense. To the other 5.7 billion people of the world, you use future tense with future tense: When we will arrive, we will call our moms. Of course, much of the english language is flawed due to the different dialects, speeches, words, etc. /discuss |

| Banned | So what??? In my oppinion the purpouse of a language is for people to UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER. It doesn't matter if i type "like this" or "liek this" as long as you understand what i'm trying to say. |
