What are your thoughts about God?

Well, I'm not sure if this was posted before, but I was wondering on all you guys' thoughts and opinions on God. As in, do you believe that there is a God, and he's the same Religious God we believe in? Or do you believe that there is a 'god source' that created the universe but has nothing to do with what our religions portray it. Or do you believe that there is nothing?

I 'dunno. I had started a debate with a friend.. I'm still split. I think theres a God, But I dunno what to believe after that. lol

People say there is no god because they dont want to feel guilty about there actions. Although since you can't prove god doesn't exist its failure

lol. As usual, when it comes to faith, it becomes a question of the mind and spirit. You can't scientifically prove there is no God, but you can't prove there is one either.
To believe in a Greater Being may mean that you may not have as much control over your life as you may think. lol. Well, that of course, is the thought of a Religious God that has supremacy over us and judges our actions.

God exists. God gave us proves which are denied by people by time. And I mean, they lost faith after some time.
Some people say "Human made God to make himself thinking that someone is guiding him".
First of all, wtf, how does a human get created by nothing with nothing.
God made Human. Not Human made God. God made Humans then he told them to be slaves, because you must work to get what you want, Heaven.
There is no such thing that Ape turned into a Human, NEVER COULD HAPPEN.
If Human are Apes, then, how the hell did they became Human?Evolution?
NOT, how could evolution do that? Apes made out with Apes and got Humans?

That's not quite how the theory works.

By the way, humans and chimpanzees (Or was it orangutans?) are closely related, genetically (I think). And humans also have lots of similarities to other animals.

Another thing: If you think that's disgusting, you really should take a look at how nature works. Nature isn't pretty. Sorry if you were pampered to believe that it is.

lol, debates like these are always two-sided. Did God create Humans? Or did Humans create God, so they can feel secure about their life (with the belief of a Greater Power watching over them)? The feeling of security is a strong thing, and a lot of people would go to any length to attain that.

There is an Option saying "There is no God", but no Option saying "There IS a God". Not everyone believes that every religion percieves the same God. Exaple, some have the idea that "Nirvana" is God, or Buddha is God (Dont quote me on this, I know some don't believe buddha is a god, but a prophet). That is extremely different from people who believe Yaweh is God or Allah is God.
