Gunz Addiction?

i just watched the WoW addicted child on youtube. and it made me think WTH?! 16hrs A DAY! i dont even have enough time to due my homework and go to work talk to friends and even get 1 hr of gaming in! How the hell can you play a game for 16hrs! So then think about some people whos IGN i wont say but i will leave to go to work come back and see them still on after 5hrs of work. Thier there when i logg on and when i logg off. They MAX i have ever played gunz is when i HAD to stay home from school cause i had some lung troubles and the max i ever played was 5hrs, and after that i couldnt stand to even look at the icon (igunz flash back).
So i guess the topic of discussion is
How long have you ever played gunz in one day?
Do you know people that are ALLWAYS on?(plz dont drop names)
and finally do you think people can "grow out of" this addiction?

Max i was on....over an ENTIRE day, i think. This was during one of my Let's Go Without Sleep for A Week spree's.(<----This also made me quite sick, and I slept for 23 hours straight, someone woke me up, or it might have been longer.)

On a normal day? 1, MAYBE 2 hours. Like ^ Mo hawk said, if I'm sick, I might play it more than normal.

Can it be addicting?

God i know. I when I first started, I had Fcking dreams about it. I am not kidding at all. I'd close my eyes even when I was awake, and would see "FANTASTIC! EXCELLENT!!" and the pretty purple and Yellow.

Yeah, I almost quit gunz entirely after I realized what was happening (Hence also that long gap I didn't come to GZF after joining in Feb 06.) After that, I've limited myself to just that one or 2 hours a day.

I don't know any GUNZ addicts, but I do have a friend who once bailed out of his own birthday party to go play World of Warcraft. That guy comes home from work, first thing he does is log on and start playing until 2-3am, only pausing to eat or go to the toilet, then goes to sleep, gets up at 7, plays another hour and goes to work. One of these days I'm going to break into his house and steal his computer.

straight at a time, probably less than a few hours, but like, gunz, then eat, stretch, do pushups in between rounds when u wait for duel, sitting in lobby, resting eyes, touching wang to minimized porn for high ping, ect. ect.

including that crap, it was that time i missed my bus to school, and played from 7 in the morning to 2am, iunno how many hours that is, but maaaan, i didnt play gunz for 8 weeks after that

I used to have a very bad MMORPG addiction. I gained level 80 + on tibia within 3-4 months which takes people years normally. At the time of course, I was unemployed, and extremely alcoholic! Then I sold my account for close to $250AU and quit.

Right now I am unemployed again, moved to a new place. Starting up full-time study in a bit over a week which means I won't be online unless at night time or weekends. So right now, I'm enjoying as much gaming as I again and it so happens to be Gunz I'm into currently.

I spend more time on the forums, and I leave gunz alt tabbed most of the day even if I'm not playing, or not even at home. So my xfire is like, WTF!111. Today I've gained what, 15 %, while making 50 + posts.

well i actully play 8 differnt games including gunz.most ive ever played in a row was about idk 18 hours but i played warrock gunz sf counterstrike source halo 2 and rakion

Ok I don't really remember, but, I remembered sometime around 6-9pm all the way to 3-4am. That was when I was desperately trying to level, but that was a while back.

I am sure that people can grow out of this addiction. After a while of this, people will start noticing that they may have gotten worse in gunz because they are too tired to play and so on.

You can be addicted to any game. Check out China's Internet Addiction Rehab centers, they have one or two teens on lock-down there because they escape too much.

Im not adicted to gunz but at my first times i realy liked it now its becoming boring... always the same... and not so fun. Now i dont play too much but my MAX was an entire afternoon in the most boring day i had

This game should only be addicted to people who are good or decent players. People who are in clans that is in the top 100. If I really sucked or hacked in GunZ, it would be too boring. So yeah, I play almost everyday.

4pm - 11pm in one day, i drank and eaten and went to toilet Lolz so i didn't die

i did that for about 1 and a half months because i was so bored, then i just couldn't be botherd anymore and the past 6 months of playing ive stopped playing seriously and much less.



7 hours a day, now i play like 3 hours a week max.

4pm-11pm and then 5am-6:30am everyday. I was pretty addicted to the game before. Gunz killed my social life and my grades for past year since October 05-Sept 06.

Now I ve completely quit gunz, had all my passwords changed and moved on.
