This is something I suppose to counteract The theory of ID(Intelligent design) being taught alongside Evolution. Should evolution be taught in classrooms? Should ID be taught? Should pastafarianism also be taught?

Should this even be taken Seriously?

Several Schools, such as the one in Kansas, Are actually planning to teach this. What do you think?

I feel that the schools have no right to Teach evolution or creationism {FSM and Intellient Design(Christianity) because they are public schools. Thus as public schools they are state supported. Our US constitution calls for a Strict Seperation of Church and State. Namely Religion Vs State influence. For the state to teach only Evolution is discrimation, but if they Teach Creationism(fsm+ID) they violate our constitution.

So far the FSM Church has gathered 4 out of 10 votes needed to begin adding this to our curriculum. Don't our schools have an obligation to our country's Laws to stop this now?

Do you believe it is fair that Evolution is the only theory taught in schools?
Or Intelligent Design?

What are your feelings on the matter?(edit: Matter=Being taught in schools, for the idiots out there that don't understand)

My feelings are that They need to stop teaching Theorys in Middle and high schools, and leave them for college.

the idea he has behind it is good since he is saying that evolution should be taught. personally, i believe it should be up to the students to choose which they wish to learn and have different biology classes for this. not only does this make both sides happy, but it leaves the option open to the students. it is always good to learn about a new theory or ideal, which is part of the reason i am looking towards walsh for my college. they teach several religion classes which would be interesting to take.

This was my own opinion.

I do believe it is one very "wierd religious fad"

I don't understand how adults, especially ones of the caliber to get on a school board, could even consider the option of teaching it.
