Why do people spam?

Why do people spam? People like Hemlock and Guyfromviet who just spammed this place. Animehater and boutyslayer in Igunz spammed soo much the system just kicked almost everyone in the server. Not enough attention? Just bored? Or just a M0f0?

Much like this topic, people usually spam because the inner attention whore in them takes over their mind. That, or they have no idea that their actions are disruptin. Or like you said, they're either bored or just a 'M0f0.'

On topic. Can anyone do anything about the spammers on gunz? Since screenshots don't matter. Is there another way to report them when they are in the lobby?

User Restriction -Hack, Spamming, etc..

Actually, yes. When you see spam in the lobby or in game, type /112. A window appears, and then you type what the offense is. All the details of the chat from when you first joined the chatting to the time that you file the report is logged and sent.
Where is it sent? Nobody knows. It may just get piled into a "junk server" and ignored. It seems thats what they are doing with all the reports on hackers we complain about. They just shove them out of mind, because they really don't care, they are a business. Unless the hacking gets to the point that they loose it, I doubt anything will ever be done..
Thats why I stopped playing GunZ. Because of all the people who are too afraid to actually die, or just use skill like a normal human. Oh no. They gotta go off and be a complete jackass, and ruin the game for everyone else because they can't satisfy their need to win.
Sorry. Back on topic. Spammers just want attention from everyone else, because they don't get enough attention irl. Or they are just asses.

I actually know animehater and the reason he spams is because he's just bored of gunz and he sees more fun in creating new types of spam lol

people spam for a variety of reasons
1. cause they are bored motherfckers
2. they just wanna be asses
3. they think it's fun
4. to get attention for various reasons

Just...don't hang out in public channels.
