| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Discuss :O This was actually last month but i sorta just wanted to see what ppl thought. YouTube - Belfast: 10 years on YouTube - Belfast Prosperous Ten Years On Since Peace Agreement YouTube - Clinton Applauds Progress in Northern Ireland (shes reading of a teleprompter :P xD) KK, well im sure alot of you have heard all about the Good Friday Agreement. Basically it was a power sharing agreement between the Unionists & Republicans / Nationalists to all sit in stormont together. And 10 years since its creation Stormont has been shut and uopen 4 times i think now maybe five. But this time it might actually stick. The political scene in ireland (north) has ment that the economy can now blossem etc. It was a ground breaking deal for peace in Ireland because we had almost 100 years of internal war Between the IRA/IRB and the British Army and Loyalist Paramilitarys eg UVF, UDA etc etc. I live in the North, really just so happy its going like this! | Banned | lol firstly its called, Northern Ireland its a country. ireland is a different country. u dont live in ireland you live in northern ireland, why cant you just face it lol. and all this crap doesnt mean a lot since theres still 'violence' and it doesnt look like its going to get much better in any near future. its probably for this reason that nobody actually cares about this lol. its the same with voting in this country: what difference does it make all this improvement that those videos talk about, wat the **** lol. they built victoria square and people think belfast is a world class city. btw half of which is a bit of a waste of space, £120 for a shirt- how many people cud there be in this country that can afford that lol. now say it with me, NORTHERN IRELAND. wudnt be shocked if you had a british passport to top it off lol if it bothers u so much then get back in your caravan and take your fenion gypsy self back down south |

First off I am infact a unionist. I am also a member of the UUP. Secondly I say Ireland because most people dont know the difference & infact Its called the Republic Of Ireland. Ireland is a name for all of Ireland, Northern & Southern. Secondly, where do you even live? There isnt violence in this country. Yes there is some attacks but those arent generally sectarian, its just hoods being assholes. The IRA & other paramilitary groups have all but disbanded. All that remake are dissidents. Voting in this country does actually make a difference, Judging by your response to this topic I'd say you were a protestant / Loyalist with no understanding of NI or Irish Politics, your family and your friends tought you the ignorant bull**** that you know now. Northern Ireland is a completely different place it was 10-15 years ago. And Victoria Square is infact a great thing for Belfast because its making loads of money for the local Economy & furthur afield. The economy is booming & will continue to grow. So take your ignorant bull**** & **** off. Your sort of mind set belongs 10 years ago with all the other stupid people, who really have no idea whatsoever. Your also arguing with the wrong person. I study politics at University along with Philosophy. So when talking about NI politics I actually know what I'm talking about. Oh yes I have a British & Irish Password. Because I am infact a citizen of both countries. | |
