What happens to us in the Afterlife?

I know many people have wondered what ever happens to us after we die, and that there are many theories, but I just began to think of this again. I'd like some opinions even if there is noone in the world that will know.

The main question is...
- What would the world be like after we die? Would it be completely blank darkness without knowing there was even life that have existed or anything like that?

Some of the theories are...
- Reincarnation - being reborn into a new life whether it be a new type of creature such as a insect/animal or a human again.
- Complete emptiness in life without you to see whats there.. (this probably makes no sense)
- Going to Heaven and Hell, whether you bad or good decides where you go in the afterlife, this has alot to do with religion.

Finally...

- If you know any other theories what the afterlife could be like, don't hesitate to post.

- Also don't be afraid to post your own theories or beliefs

hopefully it wont be just complete darkness cuz thatll suck....alot

anyways i want to go to heaven or atleast between heaven and hell, i dont wanna go to hell (any idiot knows y lol)

ive heard that in Hindu religion,i think, when you go to hell it is only temporary, you only suffer depending how much bad karma you generated during your whole lifetime, once the bad karma is burned out your suffering will stop

To me, I'd probably think the complete vivid darkness would be the closest to scientific theory, even if there is no answer

, with darkness (without you being there) life cannot be carried on as you cannot experience it right? Or is it...

This question is obviously one of the most confusing questions that humans seek, I don't wanna be in the darkness when I die X.x

aww man i dont want to be in complete darkness for eternity nothing will ever happen itll be like watching gundam seed all over again, but only forever if it was bad when i was watching it weekly but forever is just neverending boredom and possibly torment

Heres my current theory...

When you die...
1 Time is an illusion created by thoughts. Thoughts cannot be rationalized without Time.
2. When you die, the lines of Time disappear as you become simpler molecules.
3. When those molecules become another life, Time restores its course and you start life anew. This could span anywhere from 1 second to 1 hundred billion trillion years. Matter doesn’t disappear, it just keeps changing, this is a fact if nature and life.

Believe it or not, this is buddhist theory.

In other words, during the "waiting" time you are not aware that you are either alive or death?
And where will our molecules be? Floating on the air?

What are you made of? Carbon-based protiens. What does Carbon become after an animal dies (give ya a hint, starts with an O and ends with an L). If Time were to cease to exist, you would be unaware of the time between death and life.

Just curiousty, how does that carbon gets into a rectum of a living being? Let say.. Cat?
Since according to Buddhist, all being will reincarnated to another soul of animal, or if lucky, human.
