First I started with the sky, dabbing in random colors of green, blue and brown. Then I added the trees, then I started on the river (which gave me hell, btw - I didn't know how to get the river/stream texture right, so I ended up spending way too long on it), then finally using a custom brush of mine I did the surrounding hills whilst building up color from dark to light according to the light source. Then I increased the contrast, added the light rays and lens flare, and then the butterflies. Last edited by Becci; 07-15-2007 at 02:56 PM. |

| Super Moderator | I can make lovely stick figures and Snowmen, but such a scenery is beyond anything I can imagine myself even attempting. That's really lovely. I think I enjoy the illumination effect most of all, and how the sky reflects such. I bet for you it was easier than using Ventrilo on isketch to make, but it really doesn't look that way. |
