seriously they help alot, i got one from a carboot and it made drawing human postitions and making the body more into shape alot easier.

Those are not very good for dynamic poses tho cuz they only stretch so far.

Yeah, he's right...

If I want a pose, I'll just get my friend to take a picture of me doing the pose... or I'll just draw it from scratch. *shrugs*

Edit: The reason I said this is becuase I sort of suck at drawing human positions. =(

They help to an extent, but yes Shintenzu is right when you can't do any dynamic poses. A live model is much rather prefered :P

This is gonna sound nerdy, but a better alternative is the fully poseable spiderman action figure >_>... yup that sounded nerdy. From all the joints and hinges, some professional artists reccomend him for dynamic poses.

This is far better for those poses that will be rather difficult if your live model is not flecible enough

Maybe I do, and maybe I post here when I'm bored as hell (which has been alot since school let out)

Do the poses/position yourself. It's affordable and somewhat accurate (use a digital camera if you have one). That or you can ask your family members or friends to pose a few sec while you take notes and thumbnails of the human positions.
