Very interesting...

I'm gonna try to go into detail but please don't take offence ^_^

The neck is much too long. It's usually about the length of half the face but yours is...maybe three-quarters? Shorten it up a bit.

Also, is this from an upper view or a front view? If it's a front view, the back shouldn't be showing from behind the neck. If it's from an upper view, then okey-dokey =P

The face, his head is mis-proportioned and the eyes are too close to each other. The nose is well-done as well as the mouth. The chin though...to me he looks like he's eyeing someone while his face is turned to the left, but his chin is angled towards the right.

The shading is fairly decent. ^_^ Here's a trick I picked up in class. When shading, shade in ovals and constantly change directions. This eliminates those sharp lines, like the ones on the side of his face. Also, the most effective way to shade is to start light where few shading is needed, and work darker until you reach what's creating the shadow. So gradually fade from light to dark (or dark to light, whichever you wanna try)

Also, underneath the nose needs shading =)

I can't quite make out the clothes he's wearing. Not your fault of course =P it's just the image is too close to figure out what he's wearing. Still, it's amazing you can draw left-handed. Last time I tried that, it came out worse than my kindergarten squiggles T_T

Again, please don't take any offence to this

Overall...? 8/10

-Shading and Proportions need work but it's still very decent
-You bothered to put in shading at all so that's a plus ^_^
-I don't know why but the hair makes me smile =) it looks fuzzy like a teddy bear
-For some reason this has inspired me to draw your character XD Do you mind?

I see you have your own little 'style' of drawing. Compare your avatar, your sig and that sketch and you'll see what I mean by 'your own style'.

Your shading makes your sketch look more appealing.
Good sketching
