![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I remember my first guitar class. The teacher asked what songs I wanted to learn and I just said stairway to heaven and dust in the wind. From that on it became pretty easy. |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | Practice I guess. Learn how to read notes and stuff first, then learn how to play the notes on your instrument. Then practice and learn the notes to the song you want to play. Just don't think of it as something out of your reach. |

| SUPER DOUBLE HOMO | Learn some White Stripes songs. You don't have to play the "solos" (Jack is the only guitarist), but you should learn as many songs as possible. It helps with writing your own stuff, and keeping up with the speed on some notes. |

No idea what the note a b c sound like... so I wouldnt be able to get a song tab jsut by listening not only that but when I see the people play songs (EG: Bleed well, stricken, Iron man, down with the sickness..) it seems like your hands are all over the strings it looks horribly complicated =/ |

| SUPER DOUBLE HOMO | Go to guitar center and bring someone with you who knows guitar. Get them to show you some notes and chords on the guitars, then grab a guitar off a wall and plug it in. Try the notes out yourself and see how you like it. Bass is easier, if you're looking for ways to start. Listen to some Red Hot Chili Peppers. Flea, the bassist started changing his playing style mid-way through their career. Older albums he'll play faster, newer albums he spaces the notes out more and uses them to their fullest. Do what you like, but do research before you make any decision to back out or go through with something. |
