If a car's heading straight at you...

This being the OT, I'm probably not gonna get really serious answers, but I've always wondered.

Do you think it's possible to avoid getting hurt at all if, say, you found yourself in a position where a car is heading straight at you, and you can't move perpendicularly out of the direction it's heading it quickly enough, so you jump on its hood and keep your balance when its braking so you don't get thrown off by the inertia?

As you can see there, Paul does it once but is defeated when a second comes in a row.




But as you can see here, there was no hope. I tried to find the one where Paul jumps the car, but while looking I found these.

Anyways, like I was saying, you can if you have your wits about you, but first of all, I can't think of a situation where you couldn't jump to the side unless you are being chased down an alley, ut even if you couldn't I'm not thinking your brain will be quick enough to think "I should jump over this thing"

If you planned it, just make the whole thing really slow then speed it up a bit later on if you are going to record it or something.

If you time it correctly, you can jump on top of the car hood, and then jump again and then do a somersault over the car. Doing all that might give you enough air to do the somersault

well obv. you wanna go over the car rather than under it.

if you couldnt move out of the way, i would just try rolling overtop the car as it came by. jumping on the car landing on feet sounds like a great way to break legs tho

If it's a truck, then you can probably lie flat on the ground and hope it doesn't sway or turn.

There was also guy in a movie who did a flying kick straight through the windshield.

Depends on how fast it's going, just compare jumping on a car that's going 30 mph to jumping off something and hitting the ground at 30 mph. You'd probably break your legs.
