advantage and disadvantage of an buzz haircut?

I never had an buzzcut before, so I wanted to get one. I'm going out on saturday to get an buzzcut.

I heard if you shave your head your hair grows alittle faster?
Does your hair gets harder or softer?

Share information on buzzcuts plz

advantages:

Minimal upkeep. (I.E you do NOTHING)
Prevents head lice.
Keeps head cool in summer time.
some chicks dig it.
consistent look.

Disadvantages:

Not fashionable. <--- srsly
some chicks don't dig it.
No room for creativity.
You can see any bumps on your head.

Your hair gets "soft" and feels different, but chicks always want to touch it for w/e reason so thats a plus. Um, I don't get a straight up buzz cut, but my hair has always grown extremely fast, so couldn't tell you there.

I prefer my hair pretty short anyway, so I can't compare it to being long, but I like it?

Get a 2 all around, it's a longer version of a buzzcut. As in it feels the same, with the same benefits, but people can't see your scalp.
