![]() | **Note**This guide is for people who are starting a new character, regardless if they have played before or not. To start things off, you must understand the basic movement controls and interface of the game. To save myself valuable space, you should go to the guide on Gzf for a fully-detailed description the game and more: http://www.gunzfactor.com/beginner.php Choosing your Character Your starting character comes with a melee weapon, and either one set of dual-hand weapons or two one-handed weapons. The best choices are: Travia Gun Priest - this one is for people who have had little or no experience in FPS'. You need some prep in order to use this character properly: assuming you have read the Item Equip and Store guide on the link I gave you, sell the Repair Kits and buy a Rusty Sword and Renard x 2. Equip them and you will have two sets or starting weapons (Minics x 2) and a stronger melee. Axium Gun Knight - perfect choice for former FPS players, comes with a sword, a strong pair of SMGs and grenades. Levels 1 - 10: Entry Level Channel AP: 15, lvl 0 armor, do not buy any Weapons: starting weapons, do not buy any This channel is exactly what it's named afte. In order for you to fully experience Gunz, I recommend using the Play Now button, which will randomly put you in a game. For now just spray with your Renards and slash with your sword. Have fun in this channel cause mostly everyone's a noob. This is also the easiest leveling you will ever experience, just to note. Beginner Channel AP: 15, lvl 0 armor, do not buy any (won't make a difference) Weapons to buy (optional): lvl 5 Breaker, lvl 5 Nico To say the least, this is almost exactly the same thing as the Entry Level channel, just with slightly higher levels and a bit of added armor. Bounty is still limited right now so do not spend too much. [/b]Levels 11 - 20:[/b] Veteran Channel AP: ~40-67, ALWAYS buy armor in this order: shoes, gloves, pants, shirt Weapons: Any you want. Do not get one handed weapons!!! This is the "learning" channel. By now the term Kstyle has probably been used many times so you might want to have a go at it. If anything, try to get into a noob clan, one that will help you learn more about Gunz and its features. For leveling, you still want to stay in the large Mansion DMs. It takes longer to level and kill now but it gives you a taste of high armor fights. Essentials Just some moves you should know about Gunz Wall cancel: Jump--dash at wall--jump off--slash--repeat This move keeps you in the air. Swapshot: Shoot(hold)--press 2 or 3--let gun shoot--immediately switch to previous weapon This is only useful for....well spamming really. If you have any weapons more than 300 ping then this move is useless. Unblockable Massive: Charge massive--get close to opponent--turn aroun 180 degrees and massive Get this right and no one can block it...unless they know how to. Just a tip, you gotta get close enough to the guy so that you can slash him to hit him. Thats all i got for now, will be adding stuff soon. Last edited by vamperera; 10-23-2006 at 02:14 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian | im only giving it a 2/10 becuase it seems cramped and if your making the guide you should have tactics, what you should be learning, Q and A ^. also you should know the names for the guide. if your a newbie then how are you going to know what it is with out the name? it has potential but should be more in-depth and have alot more info. |
