| Member | Okay, Iv seen a lot of people complain about lag, spiking, agent errors, etc. So I am going to tell you how to fix some of these... First off... A lot of the people that get agent errors are those with routers. You can fix this, easily. Step 1, Log into your routers admin control panel. Step 2, Go to http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm and select the router you use, and then find Gunz. It will tell you what settings to use to set up port forwarding. Step 3, Save your settings. Secondly, how to get rid of some lag you may have. Close all extra programs you have running. A lot of people leave soo many programs up and running when they play gunz and then complain about the lag. Dont be stupid, close that stuff and you wont have as big of a problem. Always close excess programs that arent needed while you play gunz (ex: Downloading programs, IM programs, etc) Spiking, a lot of the times this can not be helped. Try all of the above to fix this, and if it doesnt try to renew your connection. There are several ways you are able to do this. 1) Open the Local Area Connection app thats in your system tray (the 2 computers) [If its not there, go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet Connections -> Network Connections -> Local Area Connection] On the tab at the top, click Support, and then click Repair. If this does not work, try this step. Start -> Run -> cmd If cmd does not work, do Start -> Run -> command (there is a different, 32 and 64) Once your command promt loads, type ipconfig /release all Once it finished type ipconfig /renew all A few simple suggestions to those noobs that cant figure it out -Mizz |
