![]() | Finger Guide of K-Styling Things that you need to know before reading this guide: I call timing the order in which you press the keys. I separate basic moves from advances moves based on the recursive’s guide of K-Style published in www.gunzfactor.com. Do not ever use Mouse Wheel. Now here is… Basic Moves: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wall Cancel: this is an easy one. Middle in W to dash, thumb in SPACE BAR to jump. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Butterfly: To the right: Pointer on D to dash, thumb in SPACE BAR to jump, pinky on SHIFT to block. =0=0=0=0= To the left: same as before, but you use ring on A to dash to the left instead of right. =0=0=0=0= To the front: same as before, but you use middle on W to dash forward. =0=0=0=0= To the back: You use middle on S to dash backwards. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slash Shoot: To the right: Pointer on D to dash, thumb in SPACE BAR to jump, middle on 2 to change weapon. =0=0=0=0= To the left: same as before, but you use ring on A to dash to left instead of the right. =0=0=0=0= To the front: Here I use middle on W to dash, ring on 2 to change weapon and thumb on SPACE BAR to jump =0=0=0=0= To the back: middle on S to dash backwards, ring in 2 to change weapons and thumb in SPACE BAR to jump. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advances Moves: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Half Step: I will explain this very fast because half step has too much directions. Thumb will ever be in SPACE BAR to jump. Right – Left: pointer in D, middle in 2 and ring in A. =0=0=0=0= Left - Right: same as before (the only thing that changes here is the timing…) =0=0=0=0= Right – Front: pointer in D, middle in W and ring in 2. But I prefer to use middle for 2 and W. =0=0=0=0= Left – Front: this is a hard one because you need to remove ring when you are going to press 2, ring in A, pointer in W and middle in 2. =0=0=0=0= Front – Right: same stance as right - front (change timing). =0=0=0=0= Front – Left: same stance as left - front (change timing). =0=0=0=0= Back – Right: middle in S, pointer in D and ring in 2. =0=0=0=0= Back – Left: you can do pointer in S, ring on A and middle in 2 or pointer in S, middle in A and ring in 2. =0=0=0=0= Front – Back: pointer in S, middle in W and ring in 2. =0=0=0=0= Back – Front: same as before (change timing). =0=0=0=0= Front – Front: like an SS to the front. =0=0=0=0= Back – Back: like an SS to the back. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flash Step: Right: pointer in D, middle in 2 and ring in Q or 1. =0=0=0=0= Left: ring in A, middle in 2, and use ring again in Q or 1. =0=0=0=0= Front: middle in W, ring in 2, and use ring again in 1. =0=0=0=0= Back: middle in S, ring in 2, and use ring again in 1. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added 01/13/06 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using secondary gun (3 key): ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slash Shoot: To the right: Pointer on D to dash, thumb in SPACE BAR to jump, middle on 3 to change weapon. =0=0=0=0= To the left: same as before, but you use ring on A to dash to left instead of the right. =0=0=0=0= To the front: Here I use middle on W to dash, pointer on 3 to change weapon and thumb on SPACE BAR to jump =0=0=0=0= To the back: middle on S to dash backwards, ring or pointer in 3 to change weapons and thumb in SPACE BAR to jump. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advances Moves: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Half Step: I will explain this very fast because half step has too much directions. Thumb will ever be in SPACE BAR to jump. Right – Left: pointer in D, middle in 3 and ring in A. =0=0=0=0= Left - Right: same as before (the only thing that changes here is the timing…) =0=0=0=0= Right – Front: pointer in D, middle for W and 3. =0=0=0=0= Left – Front: ring in A, middle for 2 and W. =0=0=0=0= Front – Right: same stance as right - front (change timing). =0=0=0=0= Front – Left: same stance as left - front (change timing). =0=0=0=0= Back – Right: middle in S, pointer in D and ring in 3. Or use pointer for S and D and middle for 3. =0=0=0=0= Back – Left: I use pointer for S and A and middle for 2. =0=0=0=0= Front – Back: middle in 3 and ring for W and S. =0=0=0=0= Back – Front: middle for S and W and pointer for 3. =0=0=0=0= Front – Front: like an SS to the front. =0=0=0=0= Back – Back: like an SS to the back. |

| Member | I don't think this is a very helpful guide in the sense that those interested or advanced enough to seek K-Style help would need such a basic guide. I mean, avid gamers know well enough which finger goes on what button, so long as they know the key sequence to performing the move. In itself, the guide is good; in the rare case that someone thinks "what's the best or fastest way to perform this move" and is for some strange reason unable to come up with the answer on his or her own, then this guide will help them. However, I really don't think a lot of K-Stylers will come in here and say "Ohhh, I see! So I had the wrong finger on the button! NOW I can do it!" You might get some people who use different combinations, though, but yeah a lot of those I would consider the norm. Also, keep in mind some people use different keys than the default, and you can use Q and E to switch between sword and weapons, as well as 1, 2, and 3. |
