Xtrap Vs Punkbuster

ok its pretty obviouse wich would win...but i want to know if u think they should switch Xtrap with Punkbuster.

If punkbuster catches you hacking and bans you, theres no way around it.. unless youve figured out a way to change your drive number? But im pretty sure its been full of holes since the day it came out, i remember in America's army there were the daring few who figured out an exploit on punkbuster but once that hack got patched and they tried to use the hack while playing , bye bye account .. bye bye game on the hard drive since you wont be able to play that game from that drive again if its online >_>;..
If they added the ban feature on Xtrap it would really suck, since ive experienced those hack detection things while playing my winamp or VLC player, not everytime but it happens. BUT PUNKBUSTER PWNS XTRAP

If i remember right there was a 4 time boot till perma ban. Or how many times was it? (in America's Army)

punkbuster isnt compatible with gunz so it cant be changed i think its incompatible because gunz runs on a peer-to-peer connection

and you shouldnt complain about x trap. maiet doesnt have millions of dollars to spend on anti hacking software


also punkbuster runs on the 3 strike rule 1st strike:booted 2nd strike: ip ban 3rd strike: hardware ban

although thats always not the case

the thing is punkbuster not also kicks and bans u if u hack but if u lag ping is beyond a certain point u get kicked so

that is the reason right there. if the servers were peer-to-server instead of peer-to-peer punkbuster might be able to be implemented but right now i don't see that happening.

punkbuster suck first of all u need to auto install it or manuvaly to work the game that has punkbuster
secound if u dont have it installed is kick u out the game in 5 secs >_>
most of the time
xtrap there and no need to do anything

lol game gaurd little better but u need to wait for it to load and it just kicks hackers off the game but there also bypasses for that hmm...

i think thats what ingunz had i cant remember havent been on there for a while but when ingunz first came out it was hacked almost instantly i heard the kgunz x trap actually works :/

They both suk, but i rather have X-Trap because it doesnt ban u.

If you get over 100 ping to a server, you are ejected from it with Punkbuster. I pinged myself to GunZ server 2 and, I had 143 ping x.x

Punkbuster would slaughter Gunz because no one could play...except for Guntrix...

Wow, the debate still ongoing between xtrap vs punkbuster. I think someone create a similar thread sometime ago.

Anyway, i have a question on punkbuster, since it bann harddisk serial no.
What if I use thumbdrive to run windows and games?
Or maybe even a cd or dvd without connecting any hard disk.

yea i rather have xtrap, cuz somtimes punkbuster thinks u are hacking wen ur not, some oter program u have.. and gameguard.. lol wen i use game cam to record games game gaurd thinks its a hack thoe its only to record videos so i dont like that either
