![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I posted this a while back, but it was lost in the forum rollback. I just thought I'd repost it and see if anyone finds it useful. Quick Slash/Void Step: Slash (Hold) -> Wait until the sword reaches the tip of the first slash -> Release -> Repeat Combo Quick Slash -> Two Hit Combo -> Block You can perform this after any number of quick slashes, allowing you to effectively double the last attack in any quick slash combo with very little added delay. Against unskilled players, you will most probably be able to quick slash several times. Against skilled players, you will usually stick to a single quick slash. Tip: If groundslash (look straight down) while doing this combo, will be guaranteed at least one hit on a blocking opponent UNLESS your opponent is hacking or lagging horribly. In any normal situation, it is impossible to block all three strikes from this combo. Note: Only confirmed with Red Bloods. I discovered the combo when I was using High End Kodachis. I discovered the groundslash trick when I got my Red Bloods. I haven't tested groundslashing with any other kodachis yet, but it should at least work with High End and Lightweight kodachis. Replay Note: This was done without warming up. I've been using Iron Kodachis because I started a new character, so this is no where near full speed. P.S. I tend to link this combo into Double Butterfly. Last edited by Mac2492; 06-24-2008 at 02:38 PM. |

Quick Hop: (Not an official name, but I think I was the first to post it. Do I get naming rights? xP) Quick Slash -> Cancel with a jump instead of a slash I never do this move, but you can chain it into double butterfly for a very fast two hit combo. I'm an extremely offensive fighter, so I tend to end my quick slash combos with a two hit combo. EDIT: Found it. O,o Quick Hop EDIT 2: I've found that using both of these combos makes your attack pattern extremely unpredictable. Mix up butterfly, double butterfly, ground dashes, and light step to make yourself even more unpredictable. Use Ghost Block (double tap block when massived or after using a massive) and Sky Block (look straight up and block... blocks reverse massives) to make yourself almost impervious to massives. Flip and use the combo mentioned in the first post to get easy hits. Last edited by Mac2492; 06-28-2008 at 03:14 AM. | |
