Default Guide to Swapping [=D]

Swapping. [The little guide]

What IS Swapping?
Swapping is where 2 or more people trade each other kills, in order to level up. The catch is you must help 1 or more people level up as well (As nobody really gives you hundreds of free kills for free). Swapping is mostly done by trust.

Why swap?
Due to many issues such as lag, good games, hackers, or even lack of skill, swapping can be used instead to gain levels, since it’s a fast reliable way to get loads of exp and you don’t have to be playing your best to get it. (Yes, this means you can do all nighters with no coffee and STILL level). Swapping is also commonly done to get already skilled low levelers to a more competitive, higher-power level for Clan Wars, and in jGunz and kGunz even more so, because the requirement for Official CW is Level 30 which can be boring to reach.

Is Swapping OK with MAIET? (The creator)
Swapping is generally frowned upon, by almost everyone, including MAIET, but is completely legal and your character won’t get banned.

Where can I swap?
Swapping can be done in ANY version of GunZ, but is more frequently done in Japanese Gunz and Korean gunz as people are all very close there, not to mention polite. (Not a lot of people ruin your swaps).
There are many methods of swapping and I will explain after this.

Swapping Methods

The 1v1 swap:

This is most commonly done on Maps like Town and Mansion, but seldom done on maps like Factory, because on Factory and some other other maps, the exp-gain from a kill is subpar. (Yes, some maps alter exp gain).
It’s very simple, and the most reliable as it’s virtually impossible for someone to ruin it (unless your partner doesn’t want exp or forgot to put a pass on).
It’s very simple. Person A shoots Person B, next round, B shoots A, and so on. It’s made more efficient by taking it in turns of 5, 10, 15, 30 (And the more you trust them the higher you go.)
Most Commonly done on: iGunz. {For reliability, as most people on iGunz are retards}
If you want to find one of these, say ‘Swapping Lvl##+ pm me’ (## = The level you want people to be over if you’re going to swap with them)

Swap line – DM

This is a lower leveled version of Swap Line – Beserker (Explained later on) where people line up against the tower in Town, and kill each other in turns. As you can see in the screenshot, the first person gets killed by the second, then the second moves into the first persons place, and gets shot by the third person, etc. It’s unreliable unless people are very polite or you put a pass on the game and explain it in the title (As most level 1-20 don’t know what a Swap Line is, let alone how to do it).
Most commonly done on: jGunz, kGunz. (Because they’re all from the same country, and are generally polite anyway).
(Can also be done on Mansion, but rare. Found by looking for ‘Swap Line’ games, most often called ‘Swap Line: Pm <Name> for pass’. You can make them yourself as well. (The pass is often swap, or mentioned in the title)

Swap line – Beserker

Exactly like above, except in Beserker instead of DM. This is done by level 21+ (Because beserker is 21+), because Beserker is better exp (I THINK – Not sure?) and because it helps make it obvious who has had their kill and needs to die.
Most commonly done on: jGunz, kGunz (Same reason as above).

Castle Uppercut Swap Line [No idea for a better name, suggest plx]
This is where you line up on the bridge in Castle, facing an edge (i.e not into the rocks >.>) and uppercut people off similar style to above. This is done beserker, always, as beserker is available if Castle is. This is currently the most efficient, fastest most lag free swap line available, and is also good practice for shooting people while they’re being uppercut.

Group Swap

This is the last swap I can think of. In a group swap, one person kills the other 3-7 people in the game repeatedly for 30 rounds, which gathers them up 150k+ Exp in a space of 10-15 minutes. It’s only done with people you trust, and can usually only be done with 21+ (So higher levels don’t lose exp) unless you bug low levels in [Major exploit here, lv1 being group swapped by level 21+.] The End Result is much like this:
Most commonly done in: No gunz. Rarely done at all, only with clan members, so technically all Gunz’s. Note: Switch people and repeat. This is done in TDM's.

Bomb Swap
This is a swap where you pick the map Mansion, and stand opposite someone else inbetween any two pillars in mansion. You throw a grenade, and shoot as much as possible (Both of you do). This way, the nade is able to kill you both and you both get a kill, and thus can make the max amount of kills each provided you don't make mistakes. It's sort of hard to do on high ping though, so don't try with anyone that you don't live close to. This is very stranger-friendly and you can't really get scammed or time-wasted.
Most commonly done in: iGunz. Thanks Slurga

UNRELEASED SWAPS:

????? (Korean 100 Kill Mode, not released anywhere but kGunz)

This swap > All swaps. This is great for Group Swaps or 1v1 Swaps. The idea is that you respawn in your base only a few seconds after dying, but the game continues till both teams reach 100 kills. Much like Battlefield or Call of Duty. Person 1 will go into person 2’s base and kill him 100 times (He will respawn back every time), then next game via versa. It’s very fast and efficient and will probably make levels worthless. I get the idea that once one team completely dies, the game ends for that team, but, this could be counted for by having two people on the swapping team in a 3 way swap.
Most commonly done on: kGunz, if at all.

FAQ’s: If anyone has any questions post below and I’ll add them.

Q: You suck, noobs swap!
A: Some people don’t want to wait a year to get to 50, when they can already kill most level 50’s, so when they beat you, because they’re 30 levels above you, don’t whinge.

Well, that’s all I could think of. If anyone has any other ideas post them.

Ahah. You'll want to swap when every man and his dog does. It's just not popular in iGunz, yet. =p

Nice guide. But prepare to be flamed by all the self-righteous pricks of Gunzfactor.

Like how you incorporated the pics in to the guide by the way.

Swapping = nub.
This guide = pro.

I myself prefer to ruin swap games, but I won't barge in on a line--that's just rude. I'll accept the "^1Lvl 63 lookig fr swap mst b lvl 21 PM plx" request, and give my friends the pass.
