Question about Insta Variation

Sometimes during an IG duel, people flip, wait until you reach the apex, shoot you at the top, and then dbf/slowfall/etc. when you come falling down before owning you again.

I've tried to do it, but it's hard to get the timing. Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

Key Combo: flip block, shoot at apex, tap w, dbf/slowfall/etc., something else.

ummm, lead slashes.

Usually, when I do ih, I do a insta dbf, then static rssrs.

How about playing the game and giving them a chance to defend themselves, instead of destroying all reasons to become good at this game?

That seems more difficult than it's worth. If I were you, I'd just use insta, dbf once, and then take an rs shot. Letting them fly up and then trying to hit them on the way down seems too difficult and pointless.

Shooting at the apex of the jump is common, and quite easy, if you can RS fast enough with shotguns, the shot will slow fall the person. It does however work better with rifles/SMGs/MGs however because you have more ammo and can adjust your aim. Shotties you must hit first time.

To xelblade: It's cool though =P and gets you bonus points in Insta Duel games xD... You can't even use this in normal games because most people safe fall (unless they're idiots).

ya if u cant hit the opponent before they safe fall, the trick doesnt work. thats y u use REAL instakill!! :P

also know that you might go to hell for killing urself and be a slave for life. Side effects may include death and/or erections. Do not use this tactic if ur g@y because k-onflict may want to have his way with u first

Well, when I IG
For an Insta Kill (IK), I do Insta and then Rss.
So it's
Flip, Block, Reload Slash Shot (aim at the person's crotch) x]
Also
A harder version is:
Flip, Block, Jump, Dbf, Slash, Block, Slash, Block, shoot chest, Shoot below feet <--RS when you do that!(:

But you can also:
Flip + Block, Shoot right below their feet or chest (your choice), Slash, Slash (as you get them into slowfall you can mix it up)

A tip for insta swords, is to mix up the style. When you slowfall, then dbf you get the easy-ness of the slowfall, with the effectiveness of the dbf.
