| Gunzfactorian | PART 2: Male VS Female Breakthrough Part 2: Spread theorum continued. Have you ever wondered why you hit every single shot, close range PB and the enemy doesn't die? Have you noticed your by chance amazing lead shots? It doesn't really make sense. I'm here to give you an answer, and it's certainly not ping. For a long time people have felt rather trivial over the differences between male and female. There are the ones who just ignore it and are relived with the thought that the characters are the same. Some claim females "Move faster"(false). And others choose to accept that males switch faster and have a generally adept ability for canceling moves, due to there shorter, faster animations. Now when spread was initially assessed it was done from a long range. It looked roughly the same and no one seemed to want to elaborate. Well, shotgun/revolver/whatever spread is MUCH different. This comes from the females lefty shot source. Here: ![]() The top is the result after a female SS. (At close range) The bottom being the result of a male SS. (At close range) This would be the reason why people who walk back and fourth and spam seem to hit more effective if there aim is correct. It isn't the dash that creates this spread, seeing as how males dash and achieve no spread at close range, and the fact that if you SS without dashing the results aren't any different. To obtain a "No spread" aspect to your close range shot you must wait for the gun to go back into neutral position. Males gun is ALWAYS in neutral position. I have formulated one way to get rid of this spread in the replay file below, as well as shown you first hand my experiment, with the help of DannyBoy that is =). I know other ways and techniques of making your shots more effective, just PM me and I would be happy to teach you. I have high reason to believe that AryaVarwin knew this knowledge. Hence why she requested a male character and seemed to make phenomenal shots. Last edited by AryaZephyr; 05-08-2008 at 10:10 PM. |
