| Gunzfactorian | I always hear people complaining baout their mouse wheel, or claiming that it is impossible to move as fast as the game will allow without using the keyboard for all aspects of movement save Shoot/Alt Fire. This should prove otherwise, and also help fellow Mouse users. Movement: W: Forward A: Backward S: Left D: Right Space: Jump Block: Shift. Sword: 1 or F. <--- F allows for people with small fingers to quickly switch to sword without having to improve their dexterity. Gun 1: 1 or Mouse Wheel Down. This allows for Mouse Wheel Down to function as a press of the 1 button. Of course the speed of the switch it actually governed by the quality of the mouse, but I have only noticed a microscopic difference between a generic mouse and my Razer Copperhead. Gun 2: 2 or Mouse Wheel Up. See Gun 1. Item A: Q. Item B: E. The button inputs "Next and Previous" are pointless and slow. Switching Q and E to the item slots allows for easy access for people with small hands without having to improve dexterity. Reload: R or Right Mouse Button. This allows for standard RS Swap Shot with the R button, as well as using the Mouse Button for Reload Slash Shot/Half Step/Half Half/Gear Tap/Gear Half/Gear Half-Half/Etc with relative ease, without having to improve dexterity for small hands. Fire: Left CTRL or Left Mouse Button: Default. Alternative Fire: Middle Mouse Button. With Right Mouse Button set to Reload, I needed to remap the flip. This is just how I prefered. ;x See Status: Tab. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | It isn't moving as fast people have problems with, its switching as fast. Mouse wheels are often slower to respond and, depending on the mouse, don't have that snap like switch. Button presses generally give you more accurate feel than the mousewheel and the responce of a button press is more reliable and standard over different keyboards. |

Your probably right, but 90% of people probably do use a piss-poor mouse that came cheap with there comp. Both points are valid. | |

| Newbie | I've got my own setup, it's a little different. Reload on the mousewheel. This means you reload when you click the mouse wheel. That's all. I use Arrow keys to move, Rt Shift to jump, Num 0 to block, Num Del to block, Num 1 for sword, Num 2 for gun1, Click mouse wheel for reload. I use num1 and num2 for flash step. |

| Newbie | i am a mouse user, i still k-style just like pros, without any problems heres my set-up e=block r=sword t=first weapon f=second wep q=reload wheel=to switch 4 & 5 = meds still i use e for butterfly, it works really good except for butterflying right it takes a little work, but you get the hang of it. i do wall cancels with r & t. when i rs i just roll the mouse wheel down and press q while shooting, but dont go to fast or you wont shoot. pretty much just with rhs and rss i just wheel down and hold down fire while pressing q or wheel up etc, so its not much stress on my hands. when i have meds i use the wheel down for first weapon and i use f for my second, its not that hard, pretty easy. i just keep meds the same so i dont confuse myself. my mouse or keyboard doesnt lagg behind so im able to do this. many people are surprise when i tell them im a mouse user and im going around dbf and rhs or rss, insta-fall, etc.. its just the same with less finger movement, and its quicker for your muscles to learn. im level 56 IGN: ¾amazing, hit me up sometime if you want to duel, usually in cw 1 or quest 1. |
