There is an advanced bfly step. No it is not made up.

I found out that there is an advanced bfly step. It said that it is a quicker version. No it is not a made up move so u do not come at me with all dat bs sayin dat it's a made up move. I found it on wikipedia today. I don't really kno how well dis **** works so someone try it and tell me how well it works.(I cant try it out myself because i do not hav gunz installed again yet.) Since im such a dam nice person i thought i would share this just incase its new then doin it then comin around clamin it to be my own created move tryin to become known (dont really giv a dam..lol)

Here is tha move:

Advanced B-fly(ABF)

It said to press: ( JUMP -> DASH -> SLASH -> SWITCH TO GUN -> SWITCH TO SWORD -> GUARD).

That soudns more like a stylish step. Also, You say it is faster, but all that time while you switch you are quite vunerable. Anyways this is the stylish step:

Stylish Step

Notes : This move is a rather interesting one, you may start out to do a HS or sumthing, and then have to block sumone. It can also be used to throw an enemy off gaurd. Sorry if the replay i included isnt the actual Stylish Step.

Step Combo : Jump » Dash » Slash » Switch to Gun » Switch to Sword » Jump » Dash » Slash » Block

What I'm saying is that it might go faster, but is it really "as" effective as a regular bf.

Ehh...I haven't tried it, but it seems like it'd be slower than normal butterfly, if you're using the default setup. >_>

This is in the Wikipedia article. It was posted by a moron whom made a move and he ACTUALLY THINKS it's faster. It isn't. I voted that part for deletion in discussion and if it isn't decided upon in a few days I'll just go ahead and delete it because it's slower than normal bf.

But if you get used to doing it, you can train your fingers to do basically any move in gunz. Kinda like a warm up move or finger training move.

From what i hear, when you boucne off someones block with that "advanced butterfly", your guard will stay up while you are stunned.

it sounds liek a flashstep followed by a block

its quickslash but before you land hit block. get some guy with MRB to show you this if you want to see

its just for show, and impossible to do fast with default control/without rebinder.

even if you can do it at max speed its still worse than bf.... whats good about pulling out gun for 1/4 second so fast that you dont even see it? lol -_-;;

You can do that with regular bfly. I do it all the time in glad fights, that's why I can bfly spam a turtle without getting massive pwnt. If you hold the block after the slash, it holds up if you give a massive and are thrown back.
