| Gunzfactorian | This is just a good keyboard/mouse set up that I have started using, it makes instas virtually undoable, but honestly, if youre in a pro game, you wont get anyone with the uppercut. So, onto the setup: Sword - Q Primary Weapon (your strongest weapon) - E Secondary Weapon (the not so strong one) - R Note on the weapons: To determine your strongest weapon, youre thinking about which one does most damage per bullet, so never keep your spray weapon on E and always, Rockets > Shotguns > Revs > Pistols > Rifles > Mgs > Smgs when deciding this (yes even if youre a double spray weapon user you can still use this setup easily). Nows the wierd parts: Block - Shift Reload - F and Right Mouse Button (will be explained later) Med 1 - C Med 2 - V Fire/Slash - Left Mouse Button Jump - Space Notes on these setups: The wierdest one is possibly using the right mouse button for the reload, so Ill explain it here. Basically, if you have ever tried learning the reload shot, the rhs or the rss with E and R as guns and Q as sword (which alot of people use), you will notice that everytime you try a reload shot, you have to mash two buttons at the same time (as it is too hard switching buttons in mid air) and this often causes 1. the gun not to fire and reload instead, 2. the gun doesnt cut the delay with the reload and causes it to fire late, or 3. you hit the wrong gun (i.e. you hit the gun thats empty as F and R are closer, R would empty much quicker, then youre screwed everytime you reload shot). So to solve it, I set it on the right mouse button for convienience, I know it is really hard to get used to, but trust me, reload shots becomes hell easier once you get the hang of it. Now, the next question, "Then why keep the reload on F still, why not change to uppercut or something?". Keeping the reload there is not compulsory (then again, none of this guide is), it is just to help you reload while youre learning to keep up with this setup, so you dont have to coordinate both hands for a simple reloading movement. (Looks up) *OMFG I WROTE SO MUCH?* (Continues) Now youre probably wondering about the meds placement. As most of us know, while we're playing and on low hp/ap, we want our meds out fast to survive (right?). So to increase the speed of medding, and avoiding peoples fire at the same time, its best to jump around, mashing the change to med and jump button will get your meds out quickly, and upon landing, the meds would come into effect, basically, follow this => Jump + Change to meds (any med) -> Drop med -> Land and will instantly get the med (unless you lag a lot). There are other ways to quick med, this isnt the fastest, but its safer (especially if you add a dash right before mashing the change to med, so press Jump, and dash instantly (0.5 second gap), then change to med, Drop it then dash backwards). I wont go into the other medding ways, so, *End of Paragraph*. So yeah, I guess thats all, hopefully now more people will learn to rhs and rss, cause I aint hearing enough of those clicking noises xD~ Whisper me International/IJJI GunZ RoselineMay or FinweElendil International Clans: Soulreapers and Innocence I may look weak (lv 10-15), but I can kill you as long as youre under lv 30 x3~ So cya soon =3 XFire - jeekheadonmars Msn - jeekheadonmars@gmail.com ~RoselineMay |

![]() | My setup solves virtually almost any problem one would have for k-style, and it isn't too far deviant from the default layout. QEF sword/wep1/wep2 3 and 4 for items 1 and 2 Reload on Caps Lock (Key to reload shot) Extra flip key on alt (Key to e-lunge/e-flip) Extra wep 1 and wep 2 on mouse wheel (Easier rs) Basically, it allows you to rs/rss/rhs/rhhs/whatever using two different fingers, as well as having another key for your bored pinky. Also, in case you want to strafe back and forth while rsing, you can do that easily with the mousewheel, as each finger will only have one key to worry about. A second flip on alt allows you to hit your direction and use your thumb to hit flip at the same time, a much easier coordination with a single hand, although some prefer the two keys to be next to each other. Still, I almost never fail at e-flip anymore, while when I used the mouse, I succeeded only like one in five. See if you can find any drawbacks on this key layout (other then occasionally typing in all caps after reloading). |
