[HOWTO] smooth fonts in xp in game and out (like vista) using freetype

hi folks, today i am going to show u how to turn this:

the process is very simple, u may have noticed the effects of freetype if u use internet explorer 7

step 1: right click on the desktop and select Properties


step 2: select the Appearance tab and press the Effects... button


step 3: click the checkbox next to the words "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" and select "ClearType" from the dropdown field


step 4: finally, close the Effects dialog by clicking OK and click Apply to complete the process

all you did was a simple option change based on personal preference, it just blurred the type slightly.


all you had to do was fiddle with your moniter for that ~.~

You guys don't understand, in gunz, if you have aliased text, it makes it almost impossible to read in game. This fixes that.
