![]() | I'm not taking credit for any of these moves, nor the naming of them (I just refer to them as what I know them as), I was just bored and too ashamed of all the people tumbling around in battle trying to reload. (I'm guilty too ^^') In case you ever wanted to reload while being chased but not reducing yourself to tumbling, here are few different methods of evasive reloading: Two different methods of wallrun reloading: One method is to RHHS at a wall, with the second dash facing in the wall run direction. (Assuming you're in the air) Dash (to wall) --> Slash --> Switch --> Reload --> Walljump --> Dash --> Jump Jump (To start Wallrun) A second, more difficult method is using the concept of wall yoyoing. (Assuming you're on the ground) Optional Dash (for momentum) --> Jump (to wall) Slash --> Switch --> Reload --> Walljump --> Yoyo Dash --> Jump Jump (To start Wallrun) Although seemingly without any benefits and only more difficult than the first method, the extra hangtime between the walljump and the yoyo dash lets you reload longer, so you don't have to wallrun as long. This is more useful if you're under hot pursuit, and running in a straight line is suicide. Walljump reloading: Simply put, it's the same thing as wallrun reloading, just that you just jump off the wall instead, and after a tumble. (Assuming you're in the air) Dash (to wall) --> Slash --> Switch --> Reload --> Walljump --> Optional Dash --> Tumble --> Jump This is an easier method of wall reloading, but also much more vulnerable, and less mobile. To prevent suiciding from tumbling to early, try to leave as much hangtime as you can after the walljump and before you tumble. It is easier to do this under an arched area, such as the curved bottom sections of stairs on Dungeon. Lots of dashes reloading (Or HHS Double Perfect Yoyo, but that's too long): While many people hs into a reload, fewer people hhs into a reload, and still fewer add yoyo dashes to the end of it, and instead tumble. To keep your evasiveness going, it's good to keep dashing, unless the person you are fighting knows how to lead well. Jump --> Dash --> Slash --> Switch --> Reload --> Dash --> Jump --> Optional Perfect Yoyo Dash --> Optional Perfect Yoyo Dash By the end of the second yoyo, you should be done reloading, and free to continue your attack. Attached are three replays; the first is of the two different wall running reloads with the wall yoyo one shown first and the other normal one second, the wall jump reload once under an arch and once not (with the optional dash), and finally the lots of dashes one. So don't tumble to reload; either find some cover or be evasive! |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Very useful to have explained. I knew of some but not all of these methods but have never really tried them. Only problem I have now is I suck at perfect yoyo, :P i do it alot by accident. Something I really should work on. |

A good player will keep the pressure on if they know you are trying to reload behind a wall each time. It will still add variety to your play style and there is nearly always a situation you wish you knew "that" move for. Constuctive critisism is better than arogant critism, its all in the delivery. It's never nice to brag.

![]() | I often do that too, but every once in a while I'll get overrun by a rapid bf combo in that fashion, ending in a pb. However, if they miss, I'm home free. |

Arogant? Hardly any in my post earlier. I'm just saying that a lead shooter can still be able to shoot him. Also, YARG!!, I didn't say it wasn't EVASIVE. All I said is you can still get the same effect by hiding behind a wall and reload. READ, in that post I didn't mean to imply anything, it was a simple 2 sentence.
