| Gunzfactorian | So.. I viewed from replays of GilGilGil, Gosu, Gosu-Vu, TIGER, Shot, etc etc. I've noticed one thing. They shoot a lot with 60-90% success rate. Then I see the replay of Transvestor vs TIGER 1v1. Tiger out spams transvestor by a crap load and they both have really good aim. The score doesnt turn out bad. My question is, I dont really understand how that works. Explain please? My second question: I've actually done a survey. Most of the really good players that can aim like a bych say: Try to rss/rhs etc. with an RS as much as possible. So should I practice my aim that way? Cuz i find it much harder to pull off the 2nd shot cuz of the decreased momentum. Thank you. Btw, I know in the 2nd replay the guy actually fights noobs but its the same basic concept. IMPORTANT NOTE: Answer the questions as if it is a 1v1 scenario. If it were a TDM or DM, I would know when to slow and when to go fast. Mainly because there is usually more than 1 person/nobody shooting at me. Last edited by Chakara; 03-26-2008 at 06:34 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | who kills first person with 80% aim who shoots twice in 10 seconds? or person with 60% aim who shoots ten times in 10 seconds? There's no point in taking long pauses between shots. You may think you can get a better shot (which you might), but chances are, you won't. Unless ping is under 20, you WILL be making a GUESS as to where your opponent is going to be. Can you say for sure that if you hold your shot off, you will be able to make a more accurate and better guess (better shot)? Another reason is that whenever you want to shoot your enemy, he can shoot you. You don't want to prolong this time where you may be losing health, so you want to get rid of all your bullets as fast as possible and get back into cover. Basically don't immediately call someone who uses his bullets up quickly a spammer. He might seem like he's wasting his shots, but he's playing smarter (even if his guesses are totally off). |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | I got luck hax. Aim = Bset for big places like town Spam = Bset for small places like alley in town or walkway in mansion Luck = (Steps) 1. Get a list of bad stuff you've done like Earl. 2. Write all the bad stuff you've done on a piece of paper. 3. Correct the wrongs you did. 4. You get good karma! D: Good karma = Good luck = Pwn Call 1800-MY-NAME-IS-EARL-9999 for queries and questions. |

| Gunzfactorian Patriot | Depends on what you do and when you do it... I personally like to spam my revs when in DMs and when pings are a bit higher than I'd like... Leading is a bit different, of course, when pings are higher, right? XD Although that's true, if pings are less, it's much easier to predict movement so there's not much of a need to spam revos if one does not want to. I still do though, so nyeh! |

![]() | The real pros, of which I've seen four now, usually just walk back and forth while rsing. Some of them took more time to shoot than others, but that was because they wait until one dashes so that they can lead the shot at a time when it will definitely hit, as opposed to spamming a shot that only has a 50% chance of hitting. For us noobs, it's probably better just to shoot as much as possible, since our lead isn't pro enough, but do so while dashing like a maniac, because our counterlead isn't pro enough. |
