![]() | Flash Grenade - Guide Flash Grenade You can't see anything, you can't hear anything. (Except for an annoying high-pitched buzz and a white screen D: ) Part One: Positioning the grenade Part Two: After the Flash Part One: Positioning the grenade -Position yourself so the flash grenade is somewhere behind you -It has a high chance of flashing someone who is fighting or looking at you -If the enemy isn't looking at you they probably suck anyway -The enemy will either get flashed or turn away from the flash grenade, earning you a free shot, stab, slash, etc. Guns do more damage so that would be advised -The ideal way to flash someone and not yourself is to have the Flash Grenade in front of them, but not in front of you, and again, this is common sense -The ideal position is to have the grenade behind you but in front of your enemy -The green smiley is the flash grenade, you are the one with shades as to avoid the flash (haxd item), and your enemy is the red frown-y face Flash Grenade ---- (Looking this way ->) ----- (<- Looking this way) ![]() (I hope you got that D: ) Part Two: After the Flash -Your enemy, most likely a Kstyler, would do one of three things... 1. Move around (includes bf, dbf, fs, etc.) 2. Turtles 3. Retreats (runs away) -The most effective move is to flip or lunge them. Why? Because they won't be able to SEE or HEAR you flip or lunge them, earning you a free noobie on the floor -Unless they are uber pro and can play blind AND deaf, they won't be able to time their safefall. (Unless they're doing like HS or DBF or something that requires a good amount of jumps) -If you can stun them and get a massive, do so. -If you can shoot them, do so. -If you need to run and heal, do so. -If you WANT you can try to flash them again... (Probably would piss them off like crazy )-After the flash, it's your choice. You can do WHATEVER you want... But let me give you a guideline if you aren't too sure What to do after you flash someone in order of most effective methods Guide 1. Put them in a situation where they would have to safefall (I don't know how to word it D: ) ie. Flip, lunge, insta 2. Sword Only: Turtle 3. Shoot them. 4. Flash them again. 5. Run away and heal. (IT'S FOR PANSIES) END OF GUIDE D: FlashFlip, coined by me! You flash, and flip ![]() Here's the link: YouTube - GunZ - Flash Flip Last edited by HolyHatred; 03-03-2008 at 10:01 PM. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Nice guide I remember I was flashed in 4 vs 4 Attack and defense, I started running away (dashing in the direction I thought the exit was). When I "woke up", I was deep inside enemy base, but undamaged =O. I must be pro... |

![]() | It'd be boring if everyone has double shotguns with meds, and this guide is for people who want to use flash grenades. They aren't necessarily better or worse than nade/med/heavy armor, but it depends on how you use them. Constructive comments only, please. |

![]() | I could swear I wrote a Flash Nade guide that had rather horrible results to my "reputation". -1 to REP. D: /cry /cry Anyways, Chained is right. Throwing it up into the air vertically and then standing slightly ahead of it does wonders to your enemies (and your allies who will not feel that it was as wonderous.) ._. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Actually, its pretty easy to still fight while not seeign where you are. Simply put, if you are using a white crosshair, if you move upon your enemy, thats when you should shoot. Second, any half witted pro knows every maps so freaken well along with their movement pattern and lenght that they will still be able to move around pretty nicely while still dodging you, especially if they can predict your actual movements. Because face it, flash grenades in gunz only last up to 3 sec really(Thats when you start seeing slightly again)Predicting 3 seconds is pretty normal for any higher tier players. Bu they'll still work on any idiots out there ![]() |
