| Gunzfactorian Soldier | Ok, the biggest issue nowadays in gunz seems to be aim. People who can rs yo-yo/tbf/all the good stuff and can't aim lose to people who just stand and shoot with good aim. I am myself a horrible aimer, but I want to improve badly. So, I invite all of you to share your knowledge of how to practice aiming/get your aim better. What Is Aim? Tips:- Use dot crosshair, or maybe even no crosshair at all ~Ultega Practicing:- Quest in mansion with quad revolvers. Make sure you don't stand at one place and spam, constantly move around on close/very close range, try your best to make every shot hit into the NPCs. ~Mad Hank I am taking all suggestions, and I will make sure to give you credit! ![]() | for some reason i can't aim at all with low sensitivity @_@; i guess its because i started playing gunz with max sensitivity and i swing aim/predict or im just too used to it now. x-x; i forgot who, but there was a guy on gzf who posted a replay of training in battle arena using revs and moving around hitting each pole to aim o-o; |

Yeah, rockets, so that way you can shoot a window from across the map and know where your shot landed. That far away with revs, and the bullet holes will disappear before you can get over there. But of course you can do that with revs as well. If you're closer to a wall and you're falling sideways, if you aim at a specific window that will give the feel of hitting a moving target. -Use a good custom crosshair. I highly recommend this one made by The-Onciest, in the middle of the post, as not only does it have the dot for accuracy, but the ring helps give an idea of shotgun spread. The ring also makes it easier to identify if someone's in your sights, at least it did for me. There's also AccuraDot, and there's also small crosshairs with a full-screen _pick which might get across the idea of "hey you might wanna shoot now" a little better. But honestly though. I had been using a dot for a long time, then I switched to the one made by The-Onciest, and my K/D ratio went through the roof. -Make a new account, start a new character, pick revs as your starting weapon, and practice away on the level 1 nubs. The tumble-and-spray mechanic is what you can expect the most, so when they're tumbling along the sides of the middle, aim from the middle of the middle and try to anticipate their movement. You might also want to try sniping from 3rd floor. More later. |

| Banned | ^ hitting stationary targets is easy as eating. just play a lot, experiment, find what works, make things easier for you to aim. It's just basically practice. You can't lose weight with some magical pill, likewise you cannot get pro aim by just using a magic crosshair or w/e Just make things easier for you in any way I prefer doing many clanwars, use what ever weapons, but just concentrate and have a mental note that you want to improve your aim. |

I can look another way if I know where my enemy is going to be when the shot goes off. And I know that most of the time. Playing with no crosshair is also a good idea. I know someone who did that and don't use crosshair anymore. She has fuxpro aim, at least 8/10, even with revs. |

| The One and Only | Dot crosshair. Don't use an invisible at first, that's for when you have good aim and want to improve it to an exceptional level. Also, it's a mental thing, but just try to really concentrate more on your aiming. I don't know about anybody else, but when I used to play Gunz I would play and after a while everything was just so second nature to me that I would practically not even need to pay attention to what I was doing, I would just DO it. If you really concentrate on when the dot is in the center of your target before hitting the fire button, eventually it'll become reflex and that's when you want to switch to no crosshair, to train your aiming reflex even more. |

| Banned | It gets better over time. but if you want to make make aiming so much easier here you go : http://www.gunzfactor.com/forums/f43...g_fps_lag.html Makes GunZ runs faster and makes it easy to aim at people since it's more clear. Oh yeah, and think before you shoot, this helps alot. Don't ever over think or you will screw up. Once you have gotten used to thinking before you shoot, you will get better over time and won't need to think to even aim, it will come as a reaction. Most newbs don't think before they shoot, they just spam reload shot getting about 5/10 hits with shotgun, hitting like 1 pellet out of 12 on each of those hits hardly hitting anything, thats why 3 concentrated well thought out shots will probaly get someone to yellow/red/dead from full |
