![]() | Well, I was messing around and I posted a couple things in the Style Discussion forum... but I keep finding new stuff that's even crazier, so I'll compile it all into one post here. Alright, well, I wanted to come up with some different Kstyle moves that kept it closer to the ground.. I'm mainly glad, and I don't BF almost ever, I find it doesn't work too awfully well anymore.. I prefer the whole stalking, and block tapping.. it's just better. :P So I decided to try and come up with some stuff to use with guns that keeps it on the downlo too. ![]() So... I'll start off with ground slash and ground shot... You dash along as quick as you want (try and do it fast enough to glitch yourself, it looks more fuxpro. )... and you feel the need to slash/shoot.Well, you can jump and do all your stuff way up in the air, but I don't like doing that, so I came up with this. Steps : Dash - Jump - Dash - Slash - (Switch, shoot) Brackets are for GroundHS, everything else is Groundslash. The steps seem easy, but it involves alot of timing... go ahead and call it "GEARTAP" I don't care, it's the same steps, but then again pretty much every move is geartap, it's what the steps do that makes a difference. If you press space to jump in the middle of the first dash, you won't jump until the end. This gives you time to prepare your dash so you do it before you ever really lift off the ground. If you did this without slashing, which is very common, you'd just look like you were dashing along the ground.. BUT! The whole point is to fit in a slash. This allows you to move along the ground at dash speed, and slash whenever you want WITHOUT stopping.. unlike regular ground slashing. The HS part isn't hard, just time the switch/shoot right too, it just takes practice. Replays are Groundslash and GroundHS Next is... The "V2s" of each move. GroundHS V2 is lame and easy. You have to be near a wall. You just wallrun, but AS SOON as you press space you do a slashshot and turn your view back to aim at whoever. Lame, but keeps you on the ground, and it looks neat. I'm all about looking neat. :P Groundslash V2 is just.. slashing, and then dashing at the very end of the slash. You won't see dash marks, and you can pretty much move around as fast as normal dashing. It's fun to use this like normal circle BF, and you can block whenever they actually put the effort into turning to look at you too. Replays are GroundslashV2 and GroundshotV2 Next is butterfly slash. This is just.. dash, then BF. But you need to do the BF DAMN FAST. Yeah I said I don't like BFing, but if you can do the dash fast enough you nearly stay on the ground. This is done in korean videos, too. It's not the same as groundslash, groundslash you DONT come of the ground, and you can't block during it.Replay is BUtterflySlash Next comes the COOLEST move so far! LowHS! It's.. pretty much the same as a HS.. well, I dunno'. It's weird. You need to jump/slash/shoot/dash.. but on the way UP. So you have to do it ALL as soon as you jump. This makes the jump TINY, and I don't know why, but you FREEZE! It looks SO DAMN fuxpro. It's like Windstep+, it's just plain pro. Replay is freezingWOW and freezingWOW2. And for a bonus, I threw in a replay of how I move around, just because it also looks fuxpro! Jump, slash, dash.. but time it right so that every dash is silent. It takes practice, but it's uber freezey. Like windstep 24/7, but without shooting! :O Replay is Freeze Enjoy! PS : I threw in another replay called Freezing of me BFing a wall and my animation glitching. Just proof that you can freeze when BFing. :P Replay is Freezing |

![]() | Haha, parlor tricks.. perfect name. :P It's true, these aren't outstanding for fighting.. but who the hell cares, they're cool to know, and if you're showwy you can get kills with them and post replays to show how damn fuxpro you are. ![]() |

![]() | No. The definition of gear tap is switching jumps and dashs. A VAST majority of moves can come from switching jumping and dashes because of the delays that can be changed. Lumping them all under geartap is ghey as fux. Lt Gen like I've said before.. you're such a forum lurker. You posted here solely to raise your post count. I'm showing a bunch of new moves I've never seen to be well defined before for the community. Who gives two ****s if you're lazy? It takes a whole minute to save every one, and then you can watch them at different times if you want. Otherwise, don't post. So useless. |
