| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | KEUKplz Okay everyone. This is a guide on how to do the advanced evasion moves that I use every game I play. Good luck to everyone learning this move. The videos should give you a good idea of how it's done effectively. Reverse Stabbing Reverse stabbing is a move I stumbled upon in Fatherprim's dagger guide. It's basic concept is to interrupt a dash with a 'stab cancelled' dash. Which can be very tricky to be lead against. It's a form of evasion that I have built upon, and you will see a few of it's variations in this guide. Stab Cancel Dashes Dash, then stab and dash in another direction and focus on making the first dash you perform as short as possible. Reverse Stab.gzr Float The idea is to maximize your jump distance. Practice on the Town map. You should be able to float all the way across the road in one jump. It's not only the fundamental of this evasion style but it's also handy for getting quick distances and still remaining very safe. LBmirite? Reverse Hop A float, but you apply the stab cancel theory to it. You start off with your basic float (dash+stab+jump) but add another dash in as soon as possible, making the first dash (the float) as short as you can make it. Combo: Dash + Stab + Jump - Dash Reverse Flash Start off with your basic float. Continue floating until your stab animation is complete, it should be approximately halfway through your dash length. Start a reverse stab combo during the time that your still in the air, and you've completed a reverse flash. Combo: Dash + Stab + Jump -> Dash + Stab + Dash So basically, launch and wait so you can dash two more times in the air by canceling the second dash to be as short as possible. This move is best used in variety with the others. Switching between switching your direction once, and switching your direction twice can make all the difference in the world in your evasion. Utilize your dagger. Float - Reverse Hop + Flash.gzr REPLAY Includes floating, reverse hopping and flashing. In Battle The reason why this move can be so effective is because you can actually time the direction changes so that your opponents shot is always off, depending on if they can lead decently. Float (distance, your always safe with quick reaction time!!!) Your opponent is about to fire: Use both one direction change (reverse hop) or use two direction changes (reverse flash) Close combat... no problem! All these moves utilize block tap. It's actually possible to give people massives without you getting recoiled. You can give someone a massive, and still have two more dashes in a jump to use to either evade the massive you gave him, start a combo, or just go for a simple JSD footshot. This move is also so useful because you can link moves out of it easily. Look at my yoyo guide to mix and match these two techniques. Last edited by Slap; 06-06-2008 at 12:57 AM. |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | Jiah, I don't think I've seen you doing these moves yet. I know Noric can do them because I showed them to him one day. Seriously though Jiah if you started using reverse flash you're going to be one tough player to mess with. Okay, going to bed. Will read this thread again tomorrow before I go to work. |

| Gunzfactorian Postcount Demi-God | Shadow is one of the few players that actually can shoot straight through this move. One in a thousand... and I love him for it! <3 KEUKplz? Quote:
Let's just say though if you like the way I move, you'll like knowing these moves, because they are one of the main things I rely on when I fight. | |
