| Gunzfactorian Guardian | Okay, I hate N-Steppers but IJJI doesn't do anything about it so I decided to release my guide on the Lag Switch. Better known as, the Magic Switch. Here it goes! Okay, Things you will need. Eithernet Cord PC Modem or Router Some Type of Light Switch A Knife Gentleness ------------------ 1) Okay get your eithernet cord and unplug it from all devices. 2) Get your knife ready and Splice open the cord. (Do NOT Cut IT In HALF!) 2a) Basically shave some of the skinning or cord off. 3) Okay you will see some colors of cord bundled up. What I have is Brown, Blue, ORANGE, Green, and Yellow. Look at the Orange bundled section there is a Striped Orange and a SOLID Orange. 4) Cut the Orange Solid in half. 5) Kind of shave the orange some so you have the Copper whires visible. 6) Get your light switch and put one set in the On side, other on the OFF Side. Here is a diagram: -------------\ /----------------------- < Cord THE \ and / are the Orange solid wires. -------------\ [ . . ] /----------------------- Okay on a light switch on the side there are 3 screws: Off, On, and another one, Ground something, protects from electrical ****. But anyway once you have cut the orange solid wire and shaved the side and you basically hook up the lag switch sides as you were hooking up a light. This should give you about ermm 10-20 seconds of lag in GunZ. You can cut it on then back off and still keep going. D/Cs are very rare. I will get some pictures in here asap. |
