Help with ventrilo

Im totally stumped i want to use vent but i don't kno how or what to do once i have it. I have the client and the servers but after that i don't kno what to do pleaz help.

When you download Ventrillo it comes up with a box asking if you want to go through the tutorial.

That would have told you everything but i'm guessing that you didn't bother reading it and wanted to get straight to chatting ^^.
I'll start writing a guide now.

Ok .. go make a new name... when u open vent ull see some boxes on ur top right.. clik the top one.. then click new

After then you dont need toput anythihg else in whenu make a name

Basically its a name just for your own personal views.. so lets say your in HEAVENS ventrillo name it heavens so u know which one it is

Next name yourself.. so Pacov..
k
now go down to the next box.. put in the ip address.. then the port.. then the password if their is one.

Then u can just press connect ( ps- u get the ip address and port for basically its the address of that specific ventrillo server)

If i had vent on the computer im on right now this would be easier sry.

But uhh once u get in, go to setup- check off the box that says push to talk

then look down for an empty white box click in the box then choose whatever button will be assigned to turn ur mic on and off to speak.

Pretty complicated.. if u dont understand what Im saying your gonna have to wait till I get home from work.

Vent = Ventrilo.

Ventrilo is a voice communication system used mostly for gamers.

All you need is a Microphone and some sort of speakers and you can talk to multiple people at the same time. (Good for clan wars)
