Any tips for avoiding guardbounce?

I know about looking straight down.

I honeslty don't understand the workings of guardbounce, looking for some tips for avoiding it.

Someone said that if you looked up while guarding, you will get bounced no matter what if that upward guard registered on the slasher's screen. >_>

FIRST OF ALL you must know what kind of blocker he is, if he is a normal blocker, then groundslash should go fine, if he's a skyblocker then you should most likely skyslash, if he's a groundblocker then you should probably groundslash.

like this

normal < groundslash/skyslash (needs to be a good angle.)
skyblock < skyslash
groundblock < groundslash

bingo or you can guard tap

if your at a distence just slightly tap his guard so he'll get a massive, stand away if he uses it on the spot he'll be open for 1-3 slashes. i use that tactic with bf when im at my best to easily dispose of those turtles or you can just flip em sky high! hahaha its so funny watching newbie turtles get tossed into the sky then slashed (i mean the newbie ones the pro turtles are to samrt to just stand there)
