| Newbie | I was a lvl 35er on iGunz and now lvl 8 on NA (Ijji) Gunz. I still can't butterfly or k-style. My fingers can't move fast enough..and when they do, I pull out my gun instead of my sword and vice versa... I'm kind of tired of being a rocket noob. Any tips from people who are learning or used to be like me? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sure you can, If i can do it you can too ;) I used to think this too when I first started. I used to use dual rockets. D: Try watching replays and tutorials and practicing with a partner. Try joining a k-style clan and have them teach you some tricks. Try changing your keyboard setup. I can't k-style with default keys so I use QEZ. Q(replaces 1)- Shotgun E(replaces 2)- Shotgun Z- Sword If you really want to kstyle, then it's possible. just don't give up Good luck |

![]() | my suggestion is to you is, start with getting the timing down for jump ->dash->slash->dash, like the k-style guide buried in this forum somewhere says. the name for that move escapes me at the moment, but i always thought that combo was the basis for most of the moves, with just a few extra steps thrown inbetween. What i did was, i learned that, then i through a block in after the slash, got used to that, and i could butterfly. Went back to the jump->dash->slash combo and through a shot in after the slash instead, getting used to that and suddenly you can slashshot. and like Flip said, pacing is key. start slow and build up to a quicker pace as you get used to the movements. the game will enter a whole new level of fun once you start getting good at it, you can count on that ![]() |

| Gunzfactorian Hero | Learn to crawl before you can run. When I teach people how to Kstyle, this is how I do it: (Slashshot is used as an example) NSman: Jump Newbie: *jumps* NSman: Jump then dash Newbie: *jumps then dashes* NSman: Jump, dash, then slash Newbie: *jumps, dashes, then slashes* Newbie: lol ez NSman: Jump, dash, slash, and switch to you gun. Newbie: *does it* NSman: Do the same thing and shoot. Newbie: *pulls off a slashshot* Newbie: lolol ez, y cudnt I du dis b4. Nsman: Now do it fast. Newbie: NOEZZZZZZ Usually they have problems at around Jump, dash, slash, then switch, but for the most part, it's the practice that comes after it to speed it up that is the problem. If all else fails, try D or Estyle. Maybe you'll pick up Kstyle unintentionally some day. ....it happens. |

| Gunzfactorian Soldier | what man man just said is true, you may unintentionally learn it. i've learned most of my stuff from watching replays and guessing how it's done. and playing around with a knife is really fun too :P also, change around your buttons like the standard qer (q:sword, e:gun1, r:gun2, and i guess make reload your f button; this is my setup lol) it's served me well and give it a try if you are using something else. good luck |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | If you got Igunz still, I can try to help you out with what ever you need :O. Advice I would give? It's just the standard reply in this thread. Change your keys to something you feel comfortable with. Also try to understand, you're just learning, you got to move at your own pace and not compare yourself to others. |
