that i use the mouse wheel to change weapons when i slash shoot and other stuff?

ive been doing this from the begining, but i realize that most people use the keys. ive attempted to retrain my left hand to swap weapons the same, but its not nearly as fast, and i cant shoot as accurately. anyways, i was jsut wondering if using the keys was really worth the effort or if i should just stick to what im better at?

You can't flash step or use items very well. If you have items, it will get in the way of your game a lot.
One thing you can do is use MRB to change scrolling up to a weapon and scrolling down to another and put the sword button somewhere else.
The first switch is just as fast as the keyboard, but repeated switches are slower, unless if you're using MRB, so it's up to you.
In the low to mediocre levels, it shouldn't be much of a problem though.

well the thing is, i only use the mouse wheel to change to my primary weapon for ss ing. to flash step, use items and my secondary weapon, i still use the keys. i just like using the mouse becuase i can swap to my primary and aim without my lazy left hand being overstressed

anyone else have any opinions on this? if i wanted to, im sure i could retrain my fingers to swap to primary weapons using the keys, but i want to know if its really THAT bad that i dont.

although im against mrb you may aswell use it just make sure you have some REAL skill aswell else if it gets stopped your gonna be pretty screwed.

i use wheel constantly .... the solution is to scroll down thn reload step to next wep in a gun swap fashion

I've used mouse scroll for awhile to do my K Style moves.

To SS with it I click with sword, scroll down, shoot, and press the Q key on my keyboard to switch back to sword. Its JUST as fast as a k-style with the keyboard, and enables me to have more breathing room for my left hand. I use my middle finger to switch back to sword, and pointer finger to fire the weapon.

Switching to a second weapon to SS is harder though, but its just as well. I use a medium to long range weapon for my second weapon.
