Weird Sword

Hey Folks

From time to time something really weird occurs: When i'm using my sword and my opponent attacks me and then IF i block they might just drop dead. they attack me, i block, and then they just drop dead. thats really weird in my opinion, isnt it? I actually wondered if swords reflect damage...Do they?
Would be nice if some1 could help me out here...

The magic of lag

This happens when either you or your apponent has high ping. When you slash when he look far to you, he is actualy very close and he is getting hit by your sword, but you dont see that, cause one of you is lagging.

Press and hold tab and look at the pings column. The lower the ping, the less lag between you. GunZ is run on peer-to-peer servers, so the number of ping he has to you is the same that you have to him. If that made any sense xD

Was this in a deathmatch or team deathmatch? If so...were YOU the one who killed him?

yes it was tdm and i killed him, does this change anything?

Does it say its your kill? Maybe someone else is shooting him, if not, then yea just lag thats all.

well yes i killd him and i also got the xp reward, but i guess this is clear now^^ either me or him lagged.
