| Gunzfactorian Soldier | I am a lvl 20 player and just 9% away from the expert channel ![]() Here is what I equip myself with : Military sword - lvl 10 sword Maxwell LX30 - lvl 18 rifle Raven 6 x2 - dual lvl 16 pistols Canox FG1 - lvl 0 grenade pack I have tried a shotgun (useless coz I dont k-style) , dual revs (not accurate enuf) and dual SMG (sprays too bad!) earlier...but not a big fan of any of them. Havent ever bought anything other than these weapons. I am basically a noob E-styler. All I do is tumble, jump and shoot. Have a good enough aim to kill anyone but a very good evader (and the accuracy of my rifle and pistols helps too!) I see I dont have a choice of buying any weapon till I hit lvl 25 or so. And I guess thats a long way to go considering I play just 3-4 hours a week! Can anyone suggest anything which I should either try out or which I may find useful? Are the AP/HP packs useful? How bout the other grenades or maybe lvl 11 or lvl 22 frag nades? thank you vm, -filya |

| Banned | Keep useing the maxwell, and buy new pistols when available. (I perfer Revs over Pistols, but thats a personal preference.) Grenades are alot of fun so if you like to use them buy em. I think grenades are more usefull than AP/HP packs, unless its a small TDM, or you have alot of packs. Serriously, dont feel like you have to shotgun whore just 'cause everyone else dose. Rifle weilding E-Stylers can do just as well if they can aim well. |

| Super Moderator! | I recommend using the Perfect Armor Calculator. I know you're asking for weapons, but your knowing the armor is vital because you need to know what fits. If you like to spray, with that Maxwell, keep it. But Maxwell's arent very accurate, well, its because their rifles. Revolvers are the most accurate things, but depending on your aim, you might want to prefer pistols. I think you're going to want to switch to a light-weight sword because the Maxwell is probably heavy. For yourself, try getting more armor rather than using meds. And yes, get the best nades possible. |

![]() | you might want to just pay 20 bounty for the rusty dagger, as it will reduce your weight limit and give you a melee/dash weapon. keep the lvl 18 rifle as it's one of the best weapons in game in term of bullets actually travelling straight...if you don't liek the slowness of the revolver/pistol, get the lvl 15 rocker launcher if ya can (prolly can't due to lvl 20 bounty acquired) concerning the hp/ap packs: 5 weight= 20 point of extra ap/hp, but you need time to replenish them ap/hp in this game is in term of points EX;100hp/70ap means you have 170 points to soak up damage, 1 lvl 10 shotgun shot point blank = 60-ish dmg this means you can surivive 2 point blanks and then have 20-30 ap/hp to replensith the 170 total ap/hp points ap/hp packs are only useful if you don't want to have a high death count and if you play TDMS, in DM ap/hp pack not used much since there's powerups and dieing= respawn |

| Wiki Foreman / SysOp | HP/AP packs are good. Well, not the level 0 ones. They're not worth the weight, IMO. Get rid of either your pistols or rifle. IMO It's a really bad idea to have two automatic weapons. You should always have at least one slow weapon. I'd go for revs. Revs would be pretty good for you. If you feel my advice is wrong, at least check out Dynaxes when you get to the level where the next dual Dynaxes are avaliable. They're pretty much the middle ground between revs and pistols. Trust me, though, once you start learning basic tactics for cover, this will become apparent to you. Second, learn how to wall-cancel. It's a fundamental move. My clanmate, who is an excellent e-styler, despises everything about k-style. He butterflies without blocking because he feels that he should play the game the way it was meant to be played, and slash-cancelling goes against his morales. The only thing he does is wall-cancel. Why? It's fundamental. You're never going to get ANYWHERE without wall-cancelling. It will save you a lot of trouble in many situations, to say at the least. Third, learn some tactics! Start camping, running, and ect, and then move on to some more complicated things. That's what makes a good e-styler! |

| Gunzfactorian Commando | I've never seen the need to waste 10k on level 20 meds. I have better things to spend on (just bought my rings) and I want to try out the rocket launcher soon too . I mean I can make do with a cap of 40hp more for 10 weight At level 40 thought I will get the level 40 meds ![]() |

| Gunzfactorian | Just use the same weapons like you did. SPRAY!!! But always save up enough bounty to estimate how much you need to spend on when you reach a certain level. I've never been in debt in GunZ (Just spend 113k on Level 50 items 2 days ago, still had 15k left) so only buy when you think it's worth it. =) |

Mmmmm yeah rings are really good... but they get ridiculously expensive in higher levels, what i think you should do - like everyone else has said keep on upgrading your rifle and pistols. Spray kicks ass ![]() | |
