K-Style: Necessary?

I haven't played this game for about 6 months, but I'm downloading it now. Reason being was that I was on Dial-Up, and things were difficult. Now I'm getting back in on Cable, but there was one thing I never liked about this game. K-Style. I can't seem to get it down. I could barely do the wall-jump thing. Is it completely necessary now to get down, or can I play regularly? And if I have to learn it, what is a good time to learn?

Its not needed. You can become a sprayer or dagger user.

Don't say "sprayer". That's like calling a black guy a n*****. Use the proper term, e-styler.

K-stylers are usually easy to fight. A whole bunch of them are extremely angular, and hell, some of them are so bad it's dissapointing. Pulling off moves for evasion doesn't make anyone good at all, no matter how complicated. Maybe I could post an anti-k-style guide sooner or later

Good k-stylers are another story. Don't get mixed up between wannabe k-stylers and good ones. The difference is that good k-stylers implement other factors basic and crucial in FPS games.

i wouldnt say that revs spray ... , bc by spray ppl talk about folks that just never release their LMB with automatic weapons especially smg (bc of the "spray") mg.

K-style isn't necessary.

Learning how to move around fast (not exactly k-style, but the moves are "under" k-style) is rather useful though. ;3

Other than that, no it isn't. You don't need stuff like Slash Shot, as long as you know how to use the gun to kill, and that you know how the game works (the ping issue) and you're set.

if you have a good aim, the sense to evade attacks, and be able to continuously move around.....there.....you just became a good enough player in Gunz.

well, nowadays, if you don't k-style, you get labled a "noob", which i think is completely rediculous. but if you don't mind that, no, you don't need to learn k-style. it all depends on how you like to play.

i agree with u its ture that thay lable u noob if u dont use it and i think its stupid thats why i follow my own style. so just go with what u are good with no need to learn somthing u dont want to

it is not needed but (apart from a few exception, yes some noob level 50 +'s) if you face a level 50 + k styler in a 1 on 1 it is incredibly unlikely you will be able to defeat them in any way other then using k style, unless you get lucky with a massive

but yes i agree in team dm's and against lower levels in a 1 on 1 kstyle can be beaten using a different style, whether that be d-style e-style or any other style
