What is Spyware?

Spyware is software created mainly by advertisers that seek to track your activity on your computer. Most of the time this is used for advertising. The invasion of privacy is something that is not welcomed by most users. Data being sent back can also take system resources away from the user and slow down internet connections.

What is Adware?

Adware can take the form of any software that runs on your computer without your consent that delivers advertising. These programs can be very annoying and often takes system resources away from the user.

What is Browser Hijacking?

Browser hijacking occurs when your homepage, search engine, or any other feature or setting in your browser is changed without your consent. Many advertisers do this to make you visit their homepage or use their search engine.
