[Wixern]

A lone helicopter soared through the air. Unaccompanied by other copters, it was an odd sight. Due to demons attacking from any position, most choppers were provided with air support these days. Another odd thing was that the vehicle seemed to fly oddly up and down, and even swerved a bit from side to side.

'I think I've got it now.' Wixern said, pushing a lever next to his seat to watch the results.
'Perhaps we should've just asked a pilot to take us.' BSN said, clinging to a doorpost. She wasn't at all comfortable with Wixern steering the helicopter.
'No can do. They all work for the empire. 'Sides, we left them money for the helicopter.'

BSN sat down in the co-pilot's chair. Or, at least, a chair next to that of the pilot. She knew how to drive cars, and motorcycles weren't too hard either. But helicopters were an entirely different kind of vehicle. She tried to make sense of the smorgasbord of buttons, levers and meters in front of her, but she really couldn't understand what any of them did.

'How long should this take?' She asked, now looking for a dashboard compartment, or anything else containing a "So you want to fly a helicopter" booklet.
'Not too long. We should make it before the actual party kicks off.'

The helicopter took a sudden dive downwards, causing BSN to thanks the seatbelts she strapped herself into.

The refugee camp disappeared out of sight quickly enough. Ted, sitting in the transport part of the helicopter, was frantically trying to hold on to something, anything. This was a lot harder when you had no thumbs, but slippery flippers. As a result, he often slid from one side of the room to the other, or even flew up in the air whenever they took a sudden dive downwards.
Needless to say, Ted was not a happy penguin.
