I know this has been suggested a couple of times before, but I really would like to see some change in the game, and I think this is one way to do it. As we all know, spamming is a big part of the game. The Gunz tournaments have all been fairly similar, in where the team who has the best spam aim with the shotgun wins. A good way to change up the game, and strategy for the next clan war tournament would be to
enable Friendly Fire . It would involve changing strategies, and really add a new twist to the same old tournaments (and believe me - I'm ready for a change). I'm not saying to make the change permanent, but to try it for one tournament can not hurt the game.
These are the strategy changes I see happening (probably won't though), discuss what you think might happen if such rule was passed.
Sample strategy changes in the most commonly used : Camping
A: Most teams will increase the camping strategy, as it allows the team to directly spam at the enemy, without worrying that your team might get in the way (if properly done).
B. However, Camping strategy can also be exploited with the new rule by having a teammate run around at the camp base as decoy in attempts to get the campers to fire at each other. I don't know, I just think it will definetly change the strategies used in clan wars a bit.
Weapon Changes:
A. The most common weapon change I'd assume from this rule change would be to revolvers, or even pistols. However once again even the revolver spamming should decrease due to accidental damage to team.
Teamwork Changes:
This is the biggest change I can see happening if such rule was passed. Teamwork wouldn't just mean raping someone from 2 sides anymore. It would mean pure communication. Sure at first more people will be inclined to split out the fights in different 1 vs 1s, in order to avoid confusion. But the clan who can overcome friendly fire, and still work in a team will be the definite winner. And that's who I personally think deserve to win the
clan competition . Plus I'd love to see how people can still stay in teamwork sync even after "Accidentally" killing each other (the egos from some people should atleast create some new drama, instead of the same old nstep, lag, camp bull sh!t).
So yea, it might not be the best idea but I think Ijji should give it a shot in the next tournament (not the upcoming one, or it won't be fair to the clans that were preparing for it), they got nothing to lose. Gunz is getting boring as it is, let's add some spice to it.
Discuss your points and views, I know this is an old suggestion, but thought it was time to bring it back.
Sorry for the long thread, if you don't have the time or patience to read it then please don't comment with hateful and useless spam.
