No matter how angry you have gotten, you can still think. You can still think of the consequences. You can still control yourself. The only reason one ever claims he lost control over himself in anger is because he let himself get controlled by his anger completely. You have not, and you did not let your anger completely control you. You thought of the consequences, and forced yourself to be in control. That is very commendable.
You said that you did calm down in the earlier parts of your life in your first post here right? What was the exact reason why you did not get angry as easily back then? Maybe by reflecting over that period of time you can find a way to help you calm down a little.
Whatever it is, just remember that emotions are not for anyone to control, but emotions are also not what controls the person in his every action.
Emotions only affect your thinking. It doesn't affect your decision. |
