I dont know about trying a lunge tap with side e lunge, but i do agree that side e lunges have the most usefulness.
Also, I used to think lunge tap was unreliable, as Nose said, but Shade's way (I really need to ask him how its different than the obvious way) makes it a lot quicker and gives much more likeliness of the enemy being insta'd (or if not insta'd, more likely to miss the safe fall).
