Animal Farm Manor Farm was controlled Mr. Jones. The animals in the farm formed a rebellion thanks to Old Major (with the ideologies of Marx). A revolution took place and Manor Farm was replaced by the name Animal Farm. As the revolution took place, Animal Farm also started transforming into a communist society, where there weren't any classes, no marketing economy, and they all worked towards establishing a strong society.
The pigs, with their superior intelligence, began to use totalitarian regimes and tactics to manipulate animals into developing a place more for the pigs' luxury than an utopia. The pigs (with the dogs as a private army) began to indirectly reign over animals, who could not acknowledge the kind of society they contribute to. Distribution of food was scarce for the animals and abundant for pigs, yet the animals were forced into labor (the pigs' use the threat of a possibility of losing the farm to humans if they are not productive as a scare tactic).
The pigs became richer and implemented a market economy after a windmill was finally built. They sold an old horse (Boxer), who was the majority of the work force (but now old and near useless), to the horse-slaughterers. They then used this money to buy whiskey.
"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
Would it be sensible to say that the pigs used their power to such an extent that they have abolished their communist society into capitalistic society such as the one we live in today?
