Will I ever have to pay for Gunz: The Duel?
No, the game is free of cost and no monthly fee. That means you can download the game anywhere, install it, create an account, and play for free. No money involved whatsoever. None. Nada. Ziltch.
GunZ Developers make their money from selling premium items, which have a slight competitive advantage, but are primarily purchased for their ascetic value. (They look cool).
When will GunZ: The Duel come out?

Versions for North America, Korea, and Japan have already been released. Their respective names are IJJI-GunZ, K-GunZ, and J-GunZ.

The server has crashed and you should try a different one.

The server is full. The only solution would be to keep trying or to try a different server.
How do I login? The servers are always full!
A failsafe way to login is to weigh down your Enter key while at the Login screen. This will continuously press Login and hammer the server to enter.

Is my character info the same on all servers?
Yes. You can log into either server and your information will be the same; however, while logged into one server, you will not be able to play with people on a different server. The way around this is to communicate with the people you want to play with. The easiest way would be to post your gaming schedules on the forums.
Characters and accounts from different versions of GunZ cannot be accessed from more than one version. Each account is localized per the version that you signed up with.

After some testing, we've noticed that when your character is hit in the upper chest and head, a smaller percent of damage is directed towards armor, so more damage is done directly to your hit points.
Can I lose experience?
From levels 1-20, you do not lose experience when you are killed by another player. However, you do lose experience if you mistakenly fall in a hole or kill yourself with a weapon. When you hit level 21, you lose experience when you are killed by characters well under level 21.

Pressing F11 begins and stops replay recording. You can create an infinite number of replays every game, so you're not limited in any way. The average size of a replay is less than a megabyte, so don't be afraid of the number that you record. The only noticeable change will be a slight drop in FPS.
My name fits in the character creation bar but the game says its too big. Is this a bug?
Nope, taking the space out of your name will solve name creation size issues.
I keep getting a 999 ping and/or get link dead in game frequently. What do I do?

Check off "Shader" in your video options.
What can you tell me about Ping? Why is my Ping 0?
Ping is the time it takes information to go from your computer to the other person's computer and back. Unlike games like Counter-Strike, you view pings between you and other players, rather than pings between other players and the server.
