The newest patch took care of a couple bugs and errors, but most of all, introduced a new game mode, Berserker, only available in the Expert Channel in International GunZ.

How it works, is at the beginning of the game, there will be a player designed as the "Berserk". His health will drain slowly and his damage is increased. He will gain health as he kills other people, but as soon as he is killed, his killer becomes the "Berserk".

As our final reconstrucion of the old site, the Replay Section is now live. All replays posted in the ladder and replay forums will now be placed in the replay section according to the type of game. Our first and highest priority is completing the tutorial section, so please contribute where you can if you have the skills to produce them.

GunZFactor is proud to annouce the begining of two great new storylines, "The Downfall" by brials007 and "The Start" by Zamadar. In addition to these, hobo_bobo has updated his Archrivals series with "Episode 2: Disco Inferno."

With the advent of the newest patch in GunZ, replays have been fixed which means the GunZFactor Ladder is ready for matches! Be sure to register!

After a short downtime, GunZ has received its newest patch. For changes in this patch, here's a post from Venister on the official forums:

* Packet Optimized. Estimated enhancement is about 40%!!!!!
* Replay function fixed. Also it's fully compatible with old versions.
* Many translation errors fixed. Thanks for all your help.

Please keep in mind, no games will be recorded until the GunZ replay system is fully functionning. That fix is scheduled for next patch.

GunZFactor has just published its fifth guide. This guide takes a look at the three melee weapons in GunZ (Dagger, Sword and Kodachi) and goes into details explaining their strengths and weaknesses. You can check it out by clicking here or clicking "Melee Comparion" on the left navigation bar.

Thanks to our talented writers, we now have two brand new additions to our Fan Fiction page. Tsuteto has updated us with a new chapter of his ongoing storyline whlie Hobo_bobo has produced the begining chapter of his own.

Now that the site is completely finished, we'll be working on new areas of the site. Firstly, we're looking for experienced GunZ players to help write new guides and update any of our information that could be improved or revised.

Secondly, we're working on putting up our new 1v1 ladder, which should be finished within the next week or so.

As many of you know, the site was hacked last week. Since then, Narcism and I have rebuilt the site and forum in full. Be sure to visit the forum and re-register as the forum has been reset. Now that the site is back up, we have and will impliment daily hard backups of the entire site and forum. Welcome back!
