Guntrix has posted some information about the reasons for GunZ's downtime. Basically, there was NO ip bannings based on location as we had previously thought. This means that our server fix program will NOT fix the problem.

Basically, the servers are down due to a database issue and will be back up after maintenance. Stay tight and play some arcade games while you wait :)

The new server for GunZFactor has been purchased and should be activated in the few days. We have to wait for our order to go through properly and then for the DNS to update. Basically, as soon as this goes through, our forums and site will be loading lightning fast.

Personally, I can't wait :)

We're going to be purchasing a new server tomorrow that will be powerful enough to handle all of this new traffic (and then some). The server move will either happen tomorrow night or sunday around noon. We'll be sure to keep you updated... just know that the lag is temporary and things will be back up to speed soon.

I'd like to simply inform everyone that we all know the site has been lagging lately. This is because of the recent burst of members in a short period of time. Our servers are smooth with around even 150 people online. However, it has doubled in one day. So the server is somewhat overloaded. More information may be found on this topic.

The good news is that GunZFactor is on its way to a new server. This means no lag and my higher specs. Information on this may be found in this topic.

Forum members taylor070894 and X31V87 have created an extensive list of statistics for experience and levels. Check out the published page and find more information in the original thread.

As per this thread, Guntrix has released that the troublesome clan closing problem is now fixed in the latest version of GunZ: The Duel.

As posted in this thread, Guntrix has announced a new, harsher stance against hacking and cheating.

This is great news for all of us, and may bring a new age of GunZ gameplay with this manual addition to the less than 100% effective X-Trap anti-hacking system.

MAIET Entertainment Staff member Guntrix has posted on the forums with some great new information. We've created a new forum for official announcements from official MAIET staff like Guntrix and Venister.

In this thread, Guntrix gave an explanation for the server problems and announced that MAIET will be working on a fix for connectivity problems.

Further helping the community and reaching out for support, Guntrix has posted a section for clan closing issues and a section for those who have loading screen errors.

Great news for everyone with connection problems!

Forum member Pushad has released the Server Fix. The file safely injects a DLL file into GunZ and enables the server list fuction that would otherwise not work for some players.

Site contributer incith has released the GunZ Mouse Rebinder 1.10. This edition has enabled some additional controls and features a simplified GUI.
