Tsuteto has informed us of a new hack circulating on GunZ servers. While your character is online, a malicious user can kick you from your game, make you leave your clan or make purchases on your account.

The best advice recommended by Tsuteto is to stay out of the lobby: go either in-game or in a waiting room. Private channels are also an alternative. As well, if you end up being kicked from your current game, exit the game immediately as it can be the hacker setting you up.

* Method for "Port Forwarding" changed. Now you can set the range for it.
* Some localization issue fixed.

We've received permission from incith and toktok to host their newest program, GunZ Mouse Re-Binder. It allows you to bind your mouse buttons to different tasks. Example, instead of your Right Mouse Button to perform uppercuts or dagger lunges, you can rebind it to block or jump. This will definitely see its use by people who want more control on their right-hands or make use of their multi-button mice. For more information, features and the download link, head over here

Sven87 has posted a calculator for determining the best armor setup possible for your GunZ character. Simply enter your level, gender and weight available and the calculator does all the work! For a screenshot and download link, head over to this page.

With the issue of higher pinging players, the 100 ping limit before a ladder game begins has been changed to accomodate higher pinging players whether because of the connection, the location, or other circumstances. It now states:

At the beginning of the game, both players must be okay with each other's ping.
